In Person Programs
Please note: Storytime, Babytime, Pre-K Explorers, Movin & Groovin, and Tot Tunes (including virtual sessions) will take a programming break Dec. 12-Jan. 1 in order to rest and prepare for more fun, there will be no programs during these weeks.
Teddy Bear Sleepover (Ages 3-8)
Come dressed in your PJ’s and bring your second favorite stuffed buddy for our teddy bear library sleepover! We will have stories, songs, and a bedtime snack. You will tuck in your buddy for a special sleepover just for them. Come back at 10:00 a.m. the next morning to see if any of them slept or caused trouble around the library. A light breakfast will be served.

Dog Man Party (Grades K-4)
Are you ready for a Supa Awesome Dog Man Party? Let’s celebrate this crime-biting canine who is part dog, part man, and ALL HERO!

Gratitude Tree Collaborative Art Project (All Ages, Family, Drop In)
What are you grateful for? Write that word on a leaf using white crayon then watercolor to expose your word of gratitude. All leaves will be hung on our community Gratitude Tree.

Noblesville Gingerbread Houses (All ages, Family)
Families will work together to build and decorate cardboard ‘gingerbread’ houses. This will be a fun seasonal S.T.E.A.M. project for the whole family. Grownups must be present.

Rube Goldberg Family Challenge
Join other families or small groups in this STEM-filled Rube Goldberg machine building challenge. Group members will work together to create a machine from the supplies provided to complete the given task. Groups will win prizes for their crazy creations!

Family Book Club
Read together as a family. Grab a packet and check out this month’s book from our Hoopla or Libby app. or search for a physical copy of the book in our catalog. Read together and enjoy the activities included in the packet *Packets located in Youth Services at BOTH locations. As supplies last!

Inspire is a collection of resources funded and compiled through the State of Indiana and offered to you on the Databases A-Z menu on the HEPL website. Here are two great resources for elementary age kids you can use through Inspire:
Explora for Elementary is a database for grades K-5 focusing on animals, arts & music, biography, geography, language arts, math, science & health, social studies and more. Searches will retrieve articles from popular kids’ magazines such as Ranger Rick and National Geographic Kids, often including pictures or video content.
School Center Skills Improvement brings both math and reading comprehension practice sets and tests to the Kids offerings on Inspire.
