BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: COLGATE BOOKSTORE More Than Just Colgate, More Than Just a Bookstore What can you find at the Colgate Bookstore? Something new every day! Whether you’re seeking Colgate clothing and merchandise, good books to read, inspired gift ideas, or assistance and a smile from our friendly and knowledgeable staff, you’ll find it here. When you arrive, check out the new brands and a new look in our first-floor Gift Wing. We’ve done some spring (and summer) cleaning and a bit of redecorating, so we’re ready to introduce some exciting products we know you’ll love. We’re proud to offer the popular, and sociallyresponsible, Alex and Ani lifestyle brand - bangles, rings and earrings, infused with positive energy and made in the USA. (Please save the date of Wednesday, October 1 from 6-8 p.m. for a special Alex and Ani After-Hours event.) Other recent arrivals include Hobo handbags, wallets and accessories; the EvolutionMan skin care and grooming collection; exquisite and soothing Archipelago Botanicals for the bath and home; a selection of loungewear in styles from
relaxed and cozy to sleek and chic. We’ve also partnered with Nelson Farms Country Store to offer a showcase of specialty foods from all regions of New York State. Of course, some things haven’t changed. We still carry more than 23,000 general books for readers of all ages. Children’s programs and special events are an ongoing – and always enjoyable - part of our monthly schedule. With a full range of school supplies on our lower level and computer and audio accessories on the second floor, the Bookstore is a convenient downtown location to find necessities as well as luxuries for work, school, and home. And, of course, we remain the official source for university apparel and textbooks. Although we are proudly owned and operated by the university, and pleased to be central New York’s largest downtown independent bookstore, the Colgate Bookstore has been - and will continue to be - a campus and community connection: more than just Colgate, and more than your average bookstore.
Open seven days a week, we invite you to stop by and get to know us better. www.colgatebookstore.com
