Nessi in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Andreas Baier was
born in GarmischPartenkirchen, which is a small town in Bavaria, the homeland of Lederhosen. And so it‘s only natural that he loves Scotland. For him it was more than clear to combine two of his favourite subjects in one picture. «Can you see how Nessi enjoys swimming in mashed potatoes?»
Well, after he did it, for some reasons he suddenly began to think of how he could create a photograph in this style of a painting. Something that would be just as colourful and bright and be a complete world in a way that a painting can be.
Andreas Baier
started his career in the middle of the 1980s doing photo-essays for magazines like Stern, Merian, Globo, and the supplements of Handelsblatt and the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
During this period he
met people like: Gerhard Schröder, That was the beginning Bill Gates and of his manually created Sir Peter Ustinov. flashlight paintings.

His flashlight paintings, however, have since peen published throughout the world, as well as they are represented in many private art collections. Each flashlight painting exists only once; so they are to be seen as a real painting. http://issuu.com/hamlethamster/docs/absolut_baier_issuu_small
