Photograph ers Leila Alaoui is a French-Moroccan portrait and documentary photographer who lives between New York City and Marrakech. Born in Paris and raised in Morocco, she pursued her studies in film and social sciences in New York where she received a degree in photography.
Leila Alaoui Artist Yasmina Alaoui and photographer Marco Guerra love totantalize their audience. In their lifesized photographic series «onethousand and one dreams», statuesque bodies appear frozen in time, covered from head to toe in meticulously detailed, contemporary Arabic Henna patters. Captivated by the realism and sculptural quality of each human form, the viewer becomes lost in an illusion. Yasmina Alaoui is of French and Moroccan descent. She has studied Fine Arts at the Carousel du Louvre in Paris, and earned a BA in Sculpture from William and Mary. She currently lives and works in New York City.
Jamal Benabdesslam is psychiatrist operating in the public sector in Rabat. He is inspired by the French Humanist School, and his approach is based on dayto-day life aiming at exchanging and communicating with his subjects. All his work is in black and white.
Jamal Benabdesslam The photography commemorates Sifeddine’s vogue and keeps him alive, his passion for the colors, lights, scenes and faces nourish the photography and make it an emotional and everlasting moment.
Sifeddine El Amine
«As I seek light, matter and space, photography allows me to have a complementary approach. An endeavour of the senses to record a dilution in feeling quest of an image close to illusion.»
Houda Kabbaj
Paradoxical as it may seem, her oneiric or dream-like world finds its source in reality by using diffusion effect, body movement and relations between human beings close and distant from each other at the same time.
Rizlane Lazrak
«I have never played when I was a kid...» Mohamed Smyej’s images are a testimony of his daily fascination with the unforeseeable, the spaced out, the human being, or the most abstract experimentation. Luckily, Mohamed Smeyej is at last playing.
Saâd A. Tazi, anthropologist and fine-art photographer has been taking pictures of poetry for the eyes for more than 20 years. He focuses on small details that surround us and make the world and reveal its inner beauty.
