Welcome to Handmade Edinburgh 2016 ! It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the first edition of Handmade Edinburgh - The Contemporary Crafts and Design Event in Scotland’s elegant and historic capital city. Housed in an iconic landmark - The HUB, Edinburgh, this new event is a welcome addition to the creative scene in Scotland and will bring together over 75 contemporary makers. It is a perfect opportunity to meet the artists and craftspeople, browse beautiful handmade things and buy or commission directly from the makers. Selected Makers will also be demonstrating their talent through the weekend. This show is in addition to our annual Handmade in Britain show at Chelsea Old Town Hall, London where we will return for to celebrate our 10th anniversary next month from 11-13th November 2016, and our fastest growing international contemporary craft event - Handmade at Kew, in the famous Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. I am thankful for the invaluable support provided by CRAFT Scotland and many leading magazines and companies for the launch of Handmade Edinburgh. Of course, the show would not have been possible without all our talented exhibitors so I would like to say a special thanks to all for their support and trust in this new event. I’d also like to thank my team whose hard work over the past few months has been invaluable. I hope you enjoy the show.

Tatty Devine is the go to brand for original, fun, acrylic statement jewellery, and was founded in the heart of East London in 1999 by Harriet Vine MBE and Rosie Wolfenden MBE after graduating from Chelsea School of Art. All jewellery is still designed and handmade in house by a female led team and their collections are sold online and in their two London stores in Covent Garden and Brick lane. New designs, as well as iconic pieces from their archive, are highly coveted and collected by a loyal fan base from all over the world and discovered by new customers every day.
