HEALTHY LIVING by Amy Cornwell

I am so excited to share with you all again about the wonderful benefits of essential oils and how you can use them. I’ve been using essential oils for three years now and love that my kids go straight to my oils cabinet when they have a need. We use them for nearly everything and I love that I have safe and natural options for my home.

Increase Your Focus

Focus Blend: (This will make a 10ml roller bottle) 20 drops Orange 20 drops Peppermint fill the remainder with your favorite carrier oil We can all use a little bit of help in the area of focus sometimes, am I right? This blend is energizing and is perfect for studying, working or simply when you need some extra focus. You can apply it to your forehead, behind your ears, to the 10 back of your neck or rub it in your palms and inhale it aromatically.

Fact #1 They are distilled from flowers, trees, shrubs, roots, bushes, fruit, rinds, resins and herbs.

Fact #3

Fact #2 Essential oils provide support for every system of the body, can support the brain and healthy weight, and are also used for emotional and spiritual support as well. They truly affect the whole body.

Per the FDA, for a bottle of essential oil to be labeled as “pure” or “therapeutic grade” it only has to contain 5 percent essential oil. Young Living’s oils are never adulterated and don’t contain additives. They are Grade A therapeutic essential oils!

Did You Know? • Did you know that tests have

shown that oils reach the heart, liver and thyroid in three seconds when inhaled? They can have powerful therapeutic benefits! I sell diffuser jewelry on my website at amycornwell.com.

One of my favorite ways to use essential oils is aromatically through a diffuser - one such diffuser would be diffuser jewelry. You can put the essential oil directly on the diffuser and wear it, smelling the aroma throughout the day.

Amy is a wife and momma to two - she’s best known for her jewelry business of the last 13 years (amycornwell.com), but recently started sharing about natural living and essential oils. You can learn more about natural living on her website at www.NaturalLivingRealLife.com.

Fine Art Caravan Classes

28

When two art teachers come together, magic happens. Erin and Deanna started Caravan Classes with a desire to bring make-and-take art pretty much anywhere, creating a mobile art studio out of their super cute 1969 Shasta camper. They have been a returning vendor to the Handmade Vintage Market and a popular stop for children and adults alike to channel their inner creativity and create mini masterpieces. Caravan Classes has been such a hit that they recently opened up an art studio downtown Noblesville that offers special one night events, as well as a pop-up menu for the more spontaneous creatives to pop in on a whim. Check out their new studio at 98 S. 9th St. in downtown Noblesville's historic Richwine Building.

4

1. White dishes. Stacks of cute plates or some milk glass.

5

2. Hang a window on the wall and add a spring wreath. 3. Pops of greenery. 4. Wood accents. This could be cutting boards, rolling pins or a wood crate.

5.

Repurpose old metal buckets. Add a cute accent pillow or a fun throw blanket.

: s n o i s s e S o Phot r a e W o t t Wha by Kelly Alberts

You've booked your photo session. It's coming up and you are scrambling to find the perfect outfit for everyone in your family. You're searching the internet for ideas...not exactly sure what will photograph well...or what looks good together. I thought I would give a few wardrobe tips for your photo session. 1. Coordinate. The days of everyone wearing all white shirts and jeans for family photos are out. You do want your family to look cohesive but let each member show off their style a bit. Pick a couple of main colors and one accent color (think navy and gray for the main colors with a pop of mustard yellow). (This goes for all types of photo sessions..maternity, engagement, kids) 2. Dresses are ALWAYS my favorite. If I am photographing any woman, I always suggest they wear a long flowy dress or skirt (think a maxi style) "Why?" you may ask. It looks good on pretty much everyone. Obviously I want all of my clients to feel comfortable. So, if dresses and skirts aren't your thing, I totally understand and we can work together to find the perfect ensemble for you. 48

PHOTOGRAPHY 3. It's all in the details. I love accessories. I feel like a necklace or scarf can take an already beautiful outfit and turn it into something special.

My favorites: - big floppy hats - fitted leather jackets - printed scarves - suspenders for kids - cute shoes or socks for kids - headbands *Side Note: I love when families and kids take their shoes off for part of a session (weather permitting of course). 4. No graphics, lettering or characters. I feel like this is a given, but don't forget socks or shoes having lettering and logos on them. These can be distracting in photos.

I LOVE working with my clients and helping to style them for their photo sessions. I would love to work with your family too. For information on booking, visit www.kelly-alberts.com and like me on Facebook and follow me Instagram @kellyalbertsphotography. 49
