An effective means of harvesting stormwater is
through the use of a cistern. Cisterns can vary in size, shape, and how they are utilized. In all cases they take excess stormwater and hold it to either keep it out of a storm sewer systems or for various recycled stormwater re-uses. We offer three distinct types of cistern devices to our clients:
Rain Barrels: which connect to downspouts (so they can be disconnected from the storm sewer)
Stormwater Harvesting Cells: underground containment is attained through the building of a structurally sound modular block system over infiltration or a waterproof membrane
Conventional large tank system
