Once the selection of cistern type is made, may it be rain barrels, stormwater harvesting cells, or a large tank cistern, the choice becomes whether or not to reuse the stormwater that has been harvested. There are many considerations to be addressed when deciding how to use your harvested stormwater. Because of the wide range of tolerances in municipal code that are not consistent nationwide (on what precautions need to be put in place before using harvested stormwater), limitations need to be known first before proceeding with a stormwater reuse system. At Hanging Gardens, our mission to “Harvest the World’s Most Precious Resource” was taken into careful consideration when we looked for effective products to make site stormwater reuse a reality.
