امیــــــر پورخلجی متولد 1361در تهران ،از کودکی به فراگیری ساز ویولون پرداخت و پس از اخـذ دیپلم موسیقی در سـال 1379وارد دوره عالی هنرستان موسیقی شد و با اخـذ مدرک لیـسانس نوازندگی ویــوال فارغ‌التحصیل شد و به عنوان نوازنـده مایستر ویـوال مدتی در ارکستر سمـفونیک تهران به فعـالیت پرداخت .پس از قبولی در کنکور سراسری با رتبه دوم ،رشته آهنـگسازی را در دانشگاه هنر ادامه داد و دوره کارشناسی ارشد آهنگسازی را در تیرماه 1388با رتبه اول و به عنوان شاگرد ممتاز به پایان رساند. وی تا کنون با ارکسترهای متعددی در ایـران و خارج از کشور به عنوان نوازنده و آهنگسـاز و با برخی از آنها بـه عنوان رهبر ارکستر همکاری داشته است .آثار وی با ارکسترهای مختلفی در جهان اجرا شده و جوایــزی را به خود اختصاص داده است .اثری که در این مجموعه می‌شنوید دو جایزه را برای وی به ارمغان آورده است. وی در ساخت آثار خویش همواره به عوامل اقلیمی ،تاریخی ،اساطیری و فرهنگ بومی میاندیشد و این‌گونه نغمه‌ها را دستمایه کار خویش قرار می‌دهد .در حـال حاضر عالوه بر آهنگسـازی و رهبری ارکستر ،به تدریس در دانشگاه هنر و هنرستان موسیقی مشغول است. از دیگر آثار وی میتوان به سوگ سیاوش برای ارکـستر سمفونیک ،اپرای حافظ ،کنسرتو برای ویوال و ارکستر ،سکستت برای آنسامبل بادی و پیانو ،کوارتت برای دو کمانچــه ،کمانچــه آلـتو و کمـانچه باس در دستـگاه همایون ،فوگ برای آنســامبل بادی چوبی در ر مینـور ،ساخت موسیقی برای فیلم و تئاتر ،ساخت موسیــقی الکترونیک و تلفیقی بر روی اشعاری از موالنـا و خیام و تالیف کتاب همه چیز درباره اپرا اشاره کرد. همکاری با استاد محمدرضا شجریان در مجموعه کنسرتهای ۲۰۱۳کشورهای آمریکا ،کانادا و اروپا از جمله فعالیت‌های اخیر وی می‌باشد. جهت آشنایی با فعالیت‌های این هنرمند به سایت www.amirpourkhalaji.comمراجعه‌کنید.
«آرش كمانگير» سـوييت براي اركستر سمفونيك ی اسـاطيري از دوره ايران باستان براسـاس داسـتان نوشـته شـده اسـت كـه موضـوع آن تعييـن مـرز ايــران و تــوران توسط آرش و اتفاقاتي كه پيش و پـس از آن مي‌افتد اسـت .آرش معرف شـخصيتي ملي‌گـرا و ميهنـي اسـت .انسـاني آزاده ،دلــير و قهرمـان كـه بازتـاب خواسـته‌ها و آرزوهـاي هـر ايـراني است. داسـتان از جنــگ میـان ایـران و تـوران آغـاز می‌شود .پس از آنکه افراسیــاب تورانی ،منوچــهر پیشـدادی را در طبرستان محصــور کرد ،به دلیل کمبـود آذوقه،گرسـنگی و خسـتگی سـپاهیانش مجبـور به صلــح بـا ایرانیان شـد. انجمن‌ها کرد دشمن رایزن‌ها گرد هم آورد دشمن تا به تدبیری که در ناپاک دل دارند هم به دست ما ،شکست ما بر اندیشند نازک اندیشانشان بی شرم که مباداشان دگر روز بهی در چشم یافتند آخر ،فسونی را که می‌جستند عاقبت بر آن شـدند که با پرتـــاب تیری مرز بین ایـران و تـوران را مشخــص کنند.
چشم‌ها با وحشتي در چشم‌خانه هر طرف را جستجو مي كرد؛ وين خبر را هر دهاني زير گوشي بازگو مي كرد: آخرين فرمان ،آخرين تحقير ...مرز را پرواز تيري مي دهد سامان. گر به نزديكي فرود آيد ،خانه‌هان تنگ ،آرزومان كور...ور بپرد دور ،تا كجا؟ تا چند؟ آه! ....كو بازوي پوالدين و كو سرپنجه‌ي ايمان؟فرشته‌ای که نامش«اسفندارمذ» یاد شده است حاضر شد و به منوچهر امر کرد که تیر و کمــان خاصی بسازد .چوب و پر و پیکان این تیر و کمان هر کدام از جنگل و عقاب و معـدن معینی تهیه شد .مردم جملگی از تیرگی روزگار به تنگ آمده بودند. کودکان بر بام دختران بنشسته بر روزن مادران غمگین کنار در خلق چون بحری بر آشفته سرانجام آرش برای پرتـاب تیر آماده می‌شود منم آرش چنین آغاز کرد آن مرد با دشمن منم آرش ،سپاهی مردی آزاده
به تنها تیر ترکش آزمون تلختان را اینک آماده مجوییدم نسب فرزند رنج و کار گریزان چون شهاب از شب چو صبح ،آماده دیدار مبارک باد آن جامه ،که اندر رزم پوشندش گوارا باد آن باده ،که اندر فتح نوشندش آرش با مردم وداع می کند :بنگرید که تن من عاری از هر جراحت و بیماری است .لیکن پس از افکندن این تیر جان می‌دهم ودیگر در میان شما نیستم. پری از جان بباید تا فرو ننشیند از پرواز دلم از مرگ بیزار است که مرگ اهرمن خو ،آدمی خوار است ولی آن دم که ز اندوهان ،روان زندگی تار است ولی آن دم که نیکی و بدی را گاه پیکار است فرو رفتن به کام مرگ شیرین است همان بایسته آزادگی این است کدام آهنگ آیا می تواند ساخت طنین گام‌های استواری را که سوی نیستی ،مردانه می‌رفتند؟
طنین گامهایی را که آگاهانه می‌رفتند؟ آرش اما همچنان خاموش از شکاف دامن البرز باال رفت ،وز پی او پرده‌های اشک پی در پی فرود آمد بـه روایتـی در روز سـیزدهم تیرمـاه ،مطابـق بـا جشـن تیـرگان تیـر از کمـان رها شـد .خداوند باد را فرمـان داد تـا تیـر آرش را از کـوه رویـان (بنا بر روایتـی دماونـد) بـردارد و به طخارسـتان نزدیکی جیحـون در افغانسـتان کنونی برسـاند .تیر رفت و بـر درخـت گـردوی تناوری نشسـت. آرش پـس از رهـا کـردن تیـر بی‌درنـگ جـان می‌دهد.کسـانی کـه بـه جستــجوی او می‌رونـد موفـق بـه یافتـن پیکـر او نمی‌شـوند. آری آری جان خود در تیر کرد آرش کار صد ها صد هزاران تیغه شمشیر کرد آرش با گـوش سـپردن به این اثــر به یاد ایرانیانی باشـیم که در طی قـر‌‌ون متمـادی از جان خـود برای ایران گذشتند. امیر پورخلجی تهران ،اردیبهشت‌ماه 1391

I am Arash “Arash said to the enemy” I am Arash, a freeman soldier, Now I am ready for your shibboleth with the only arrow Don’t look for my origin The son of suffering and labor Elusive such as the meteor of the night As morning, ready to meet Happy the garment, which is put on in battle Cheers the wine, which is drink in victory Arash says farewell to his people: look at me, my body is free from injury and disease. But after throw of this arrow, I will die and no longer be among you. The arrow should come from the soul in order not to stop flying My heart is weary of death And death with devil tempered, overcomes human But at the time of the grief, life is blurry But the time that goodness and evil are battling going to death is sweet This is the necessity of the freedom Which song could be written which would be the resonance of the manly steps going to
death firmly? The resonance of the steps were going consciously? but Arash was silent He went up from Alborz mountain And following him tears came down steady On 3rd of Tir according to Tirgan ceremony, the arrow was thrown from arc. The God commanded the wind to take the arrow from the Royan mountain (in some sources Damavand mountain) and reach near the Oxus in current Afghanistan. The arrow went and sat on a huge walnut tree. After throwing arrow, Arash died immediately. Those who were seeking him couldn’t find his body. Yes, yes, Arash put his life in the arrow Arash did the task of hundreds of thousands swords By listening to this work, we remind Iranians who sacrifice their lives Iran during ce nturies. “Arash the Archer” Suite for Symphony Orchestra has composed based on the mythological story from ancient Iran that its subject is determining the border between Iran and Touran by Arash and events that took place before and after it. Arash is known as a nationalist, patriot, freeman, and brave hero that reflects the wishes and aspirations of every Iranian. The story begins from the war between Iran and Touran. After the Afrasiyab Tourani, surrounded Manouchehr Pishdadi in Tabarestan, due to lack of food shortage, hunger and fatigue of his army, he forced to make peace with Iranians. The enemy had many sessions The enemy brought some consultants together till with the strategy that they have in their unclean hearts They caused our failure with our hands, Thin-sighted consultants without shame Hope they never have any good day Finally found the magic they looked for At last they decided to specify the border between Iran and Touran by throwing an arrow.
People’s fearful eyes looking everywhere And this news was whispered: “The last order, The last humiliation ... The border was determined by flying an arrow. If the arrow falls at close place, Our homes will be tightened, Our wish won’t come true And if it goes further, Till where? how much? Oh! .... Where is the Iron arm and strong faith? ” An angel named mentioned “Esfandarmaz”, appeared and ordered Manouchehr to make a specific bow and arrow. Wood and arrow of this bow and arrow set made from specific forest and eagle and mine. The people were tired from unfavorable fate. Amir Pourkhalaji Born in Tehran in 1983. From childhood he learnt the violin, and after graduating in 1990 and getting diploma in music he entered the music conservatory of Tehran and graduated with a bachelor’s degree as a viola player. He also had cooperation with Tehran Symphony Orchestra as principal of Viola. After being admitted in the nation-wide Iranian universities entrance examinations (ranking:2), he continued his studies in the field of music composition at The Art University of Tehran, and completed his studies in the master’s degree program of Music Composition as a scholar student in July 2009. He has cooperated with several orchestras, both inside and outside Iran, as player and composer, while being the orchestra’s conductor of some of the same. His works have performed with different orchestras in the world and dedicated awards to them. The piece that you hear in this album ,has brought two awards for best composer in the twenty-fifth International Fajr Music Festival and specific award of Ferdowsi millennium to him. In composing his works, he always considers climatic, historical, folkloric and local culture issues. Now in addition to composing and conducting orchestras, he professes at the Art University of Tehran and Music Conservatory. From other works of him is Mourn to Siavash for symphony orchestra, Hafez opera, concerto for Viola and orchestra, sextet for woodwind ensemble and Piano, quartet for two Kamancheh, Alto Kamancheh and Bass Kamancheh in Homayoon and Fugue for woodwind ensemble in D minor, making music for movie and theater, making electronic music on poetry of Rumi and Khayyam, and authoring a book “Everything about the Opera” can be mentioned.
