The essence of rhubarb adds a crisp edge to the English gin base

Fill a tumbler with ice cubes. Pour in 35ml Marylebone Gin, 20ml lemon juice, 10ml grapefruit juice, and 15ml sugar syrup and give it a quick stir to infuse. Garnish with lemon peel and fresh thyme.

In a glass, muddle 50ml Whitley Neill Quince Gin with 5 raspberries. Add ice cubes. Pour in 200ml apple and pear juice, stirring the muddled fruit throughout the drink. Garnish with raspberries.

WHITLEY NEILL & JUICE

Take a balloon or Copa glass and add ice cubes. Pour in 50ml Whitley Neill Gin, 50ml orange juice and 50ml grapefruit juice, stirring well. Garnish with an orange wheel.

ohnny Neill is an eighth-generation gin distiller whose connection with the spirit dates back to 1762. He explains how a desire to pay homage to his heritage, and a taste for the exotic, led to the creation of one of the finest gins on the market today.

Whitley Neill is a unique spirit. What was the inspiration behind it? I’d always dreamed of creating a gin based on my family’s unique distilling heritage. With provenance an important factor, I took inspiration from my wife’s home, South Africa.

How did you finally settle on the blend of botanicals? Blend 50ml Tequila Rose with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and 200ml milk, pour into a clean milk bottle or jam jar. Top with whipped cream and garnish with fresh mint and strawberries.

Add 50ml Whitley Neill Blood Orange Vodka to a Copa glass. Press 1 lime wedge and 3 raspberries into the vodka with the back of a spoon. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add 80ml orange and passion fruit juice and 20ml soda, and stir. Garnish with a lime wedge and a raspberry.
