Mary Kingsley was a Victorian explorer who travelled alone in West Africa. She is famous for her adventures in the Congo and Cameroons, where she ventured into the unexplored jungle. She collected hundreds of specimens, photographs and kept detailed journals. She died of fever in 1900 and was buried at sea.

I explored the OgoouĂŠ River.

However not everything went according to plan...

Time to say goodbye.
