‘Little Rabbit’ Little Rabbit is a concept brand specializing in the creation and selling of natural bath products. The brand’s core innovation is it’s packaging - every product coming shipped in a hand designed box that the customer is able to choose & reuse, creating functional, sustainable & ethical product packaging choices. The creation of Little Rabbit required the use of graphic design, hand drawn and digitally manipulated illustration, design for print, web design, photography, branding design & advertising design, as well as social media coordination and allowed me to develop my skills within branding as well as product packaging design. Little Rabbit combines my love of traditional, modern and minimal design styles as well as bright colours and feminine themes. hannahforse.wixsite.com/littlerabbit

‘Quote’ ‘QUOTE’ is a book that was designed for a university assignment in my second year. This assignment gave me the task of modifying an already existing typeface, resulting in the creation of a modern, rounded sans serif font that I titled ‘Modi Minimal’. After doing this with the use of Adobe Suite, I then had to use my modified font to design a book for print based on the art of typography. Through this, I created ‘QUOTE’, which showcases double page spreads featuring creative layouts, innovative typography use and bright, modern colour schemes. ‘QUOTE’ contains quotes from typographers about typography, as well as a typography glossary for beginners.

‘Cultural Connections’ Cultural Connections is a concept social campaign created as an entry for Creative Conscience, a competition that encourages young creatives to use design as a method of action against an issue. Making use of this brief, I decided to tackle the negative treatment of refugees in Australia. The core message of Cultural Connections was education aiming to teach young children in schools about a wider range of cultures to combat racism caused by a lack of education on diversity. The creation of the campaign allowed me to experience web design, branding, advertising, photography & product design - eventually designing a line of childrens’ books based on introducing school kids to people from different cultures & religions including Sikhism, Islam & more. hannahforse.wixsite.com/culturalconnections

‘Little White Booth’ Little White Booth are a Gold Coast based business focused on the medium of photo-booth photography, specifically for weddings. The clients asked for a vintage, minimal & simple toned logo which eventually resulted in the logo pictured here. The design was created taking inspiration from vintage lettering, combining this with a distinct modern style to result in a unique and clean final product. The logo design also resulted in the creation of a branding suite consisting of business cards, a letterhead, flyers and a CD box used to transfer photo products to the business’s customers. The overall style of Little White Booth’s branding was designed to be classic, modern and clean - aiming to attract a target demographic of customers within the wedding industry.

‘Rosie Lea’ Rosie Lea Tea is a line of concept tea packaging designed through combining traditional, classic imagery with modern and contemporary design choices. The packaging was creating using hand drawn and digitally manipulated illustration, graphic design and typography, in addition to layout manipulation. The range of teas were designed to emulate a warm, spring day, both through their sunny colour schemes and through their minimal, floral imagery and illustrative style.

‘The Amani Wedding’ In 2016, I was asked to design a wedding suite for some clients consisting of invitations, RSVP cards, Save the Date postcards, details cards, wedding favours, a seating plan and table numbers. The wedding was classy, modern and stylish - mirrored in the design style, colours and overall imagery I chose to emulate for the stationary.

‘The Argus Volume 3’ The Argus is a student-run magazine ran from the Queensland College of Art at Griffith University that has dedicated itself to sharing the stories of the human experience through visual storytelling. In 2017, I worked with The Argus and their editorial team as their intern graphic designer to create a printed and published book titled ‘The Argus Volume 3’ - a photo book displaying the best photo stories that had been previously published in the magazine. The book was designed to be minimalistic, clean and spacious - giving the beautiful images within the space that they deserved and allowing them to be truly appreciated by the reader. The book was one of the biggest design jobs I have completed so far in my career, finishing at 198 pages. It allowed me to gain a large amount of experience in collaboration with a team of editors, design for print, layout design and typography.

‘Hand Lettering’ In my own time, I love to practice the art of hand lettering, exploring different calligraphic styles to create my own typefaces, greeting cards and home decor. This practise also allows me to develop my skills using the mediums of ink, paint, brush pens and calligraphic nib pens.

‘Illustration’ As well as practising traditional graphic design, I also enjoy using both hand drawn and digital techniques to create a range of illustrative pieces. My illustrations contain whimsical and tattoo-like imagery and are inspired by pop culture, nature and space. I would describe my work as modern, clean and minimalistic. The illustrations seen on this page were hand drawn with the use of fine tipped pens and brush pens, whereas the illustrations on the following page were created with Adobe Illustrator and a Wacom Tablet.
