DENTAL CLINIC

Project: The Dental Clinic aims to provide dental services and education to its patients. The goal is to create a clean and private experience for patients seeking care. Concept: The design is inspired from clean lines and sharp geometries. The various straight edges create an environment of precision and cleanliness. Through the use of pushed and pulled surfaces on both the vertical and horizontal planes, clear lines of depth and organization are projected throughout the space. The manipulation and abstraction of a square influences the geometries of the floor plan and design elements throughout. Programs: Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator

RETAIL

Project: The objective was to design a retail space that represents a brand holistically. The brand KIVVII will open a secondary Tattoo studio in Milan, Italy for Bang Bang groups exclusive artist Mr. K. He is a multidisciplinary designer who has experience in graphics, fashion, tattoos, and photography making him a prime candidate to open a multi merchandise studio. His background in fashion and graphics have propelled him into the practice of tattooing high fashion pieces as well as the traditional body. Location: Milan, Italy Concept: The proposal for this design combines the exclusiveness of Mr. K’s designs with the high fashion nature of Milan. The traditional Italian facade and window display design influenced the design of a second modern interior facade. The gallery - like design creates a sense of wonder and curiosity that propels clients to move deeper into the space. Programs: SketchUp, Enscape, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Procreate

B r i d g e PUBLIC INSTALLATION Project: Tasked with designing a portable community learning lab, Bridge aims to serve as an engaging installation in which people in passing are forced to interact with its design. The program required spaces for collaboration, presentation, and flexibility. Concept: Derived from the historical monumentality of stairs and bridges, the design merges the functionality of the movement of people with an engaging learning center. The exposed design engages pedestrians approaching from every direction allowing for increased participation and observation. Bright colors are used to catch the attention of individuals passing by while wood is used as a lighter option for easy reconfiguration and transportation to other pop-up locations. Programs: SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, AutoCAD

hermes 1:1 Project: Tasked with designing the window displays for Hermes new Spring collection, the goal was to create a narrative using the concepts of the brand’s identity and its newest lines. The windows features the line from the Birkin, men’s, scarf , and home collections. Location: Florence, Italy Concept: The narrative for the display highlights the heritage of the exclusive 1 : 1 nature of the brand. The iconic Birkin bag is displayed on a series of building blocks representative of the lengthy process for each bag. The men’s spring collection titled Odyssee combines the space design of the line with a portal experience. The brands recognizable collection of scarve’s have created the gallery - like experience visitors encounter when moving about a store. Inspired by artist Yayoi Kusama, the single user binocular display takes viewers into the colorful world that is Hermes scarves. The horse track inspired home collection is representative of the colorful uniforms worn by jockeys. The movement of horses around a track resembles the blurred and colorful geometries of a kaleidoscope. Programs: SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, AutoCAD

Concept: The design features a bold facade that bridges nontraditional education with the active city streets of D.C. Designed to highlight active spaces and shelter static spaces, the facade tells the story of the diverse learning promoted by the interiors. Without this intervention, Next Hub would be just another highrise. Programs: SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, AutoCAD

HOYER TRACK DESIGN The track mounted hoyer is inspired from the clients love of technology. A ceiling hoyer can often be intrusive and the design instead integrates it into the architectural feature on the ceiling highlighting it as a sculpture rather than trying to hide it.

LUMINAIRE DESIGN BUS SHELTER Tasked with designing a luminaire for a bus shelter, the design is inspired by the community that bus shelters have the potential to create. The playful dimension of the fixture casts a pattern on the ceiling of the structure. Located above eye height, the fixture design prevents glare and vandalism. A physical model was built to determine proper scale and intensity of light.

Kimbell museum study The project included a field study of the Kimbell Museum in which the space was measured and rebuilt in AGi32 and AutoCAD. These programs were used to re-create the lighting and run calculations to create accurate renderings and pseudo images. Colored elevations are used to identify the different light sources and how they interact in the space. 2'
