Day's Jewelers Best Place to Work in Maine!

VOTED ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO WORK IN MAINE FOR A THIRD YEAR! Day’s Jewelers was recently named as one of the 2017 Best Places to Work in Maine. Kathy Corey thanks her employees for this award which has been claimed in 2014, 2015 and now 2017. “Receiving this award is truly an honor, but mostly it’s a tribute to the 140 employees who work at Day’s. They are the real heroes.” Day’s Jewelers Human Resources Director Kristie Jandreau knows exactly how this award was earned., “It’s because of what we do and, most importantly, why we do it. We are surrounded by beautiful gems, sparkling diamonds, and the latest fashion accessories. We spend our work days in luxurious showrooms with guests looking for that special piece to commemorate an important occasion or symbol of their love. Relationships are formed with our guests that last for many years. Day’s employees enjoy people and building relationships with our guests and with each other. Day’s employees often describe their co-workers as family.”

Real Maine Weddings Magazine Photoshoot Sugarloaf Mountain

"I have participated in four Real Maine Wedding photoshoots and I absolutely LOVE working with this group of people. I pick the jewelry based off of the theme of the photoshoot and current styles and trends. There are a few vendors that are always there so you really start to build a relationships with other parts of the wedding industry. These vendors love Day’s and always are always referring us to their customers." -Lindsay Nodden, Assistant Buyer Behind the scenes of the photo shoot, where Lindsay was asked to model a couple of dresses! Breaking Ground in Nashua! DAY’S NEW NASHUA STORE TO OPEN IN SUMMER 2018 I’m thrilled to announce that Day’s has signed a lease for our 8th store. The Nashua, New Hampshire location will be our first free standing store. The landlord will construct the building to our specifications and plans to begin construction in late October. The store is scheduled to open in late Summer of 2018. After weeks of exploring several building design options with our architect and contractor, we’ve finally come to terms on what the building will look like. A contemporary design was incorporated to appeal to a younger consumer and still be attractive to an older guest. One of the goals for this new store is to win Instore Magazine’s "America’s Coolest Jewelry Store." - Jeff Corey
