{ CONCEPT STATEMENT }
The concept of revitalize is to bring new life back into the structure. The building’s surroundings are very populated spaces and the idea is to bring that same energy into the existing unused space. The streets of the Old Market used to thrive it was a series of warehouses that specialized in supplying fruit, vegetables and other food items to retailers throughout the city. Large canopies cantilevered over the wide sidewalks where all the transactions took place. The concept will be to bring this life into the building and create a large amount of interaction within the structure. Materials will compliment the old market atmosphere and contain plenty of vegetation.

{ CONCEPT STATEMENT }
The idea behind activate is to create a new flow of traffic into the building. The hope will be to make the use of this structure as a regular path people take through the old market. Bike commuting is on the rise and spaces should encourage this lifestyle change. The thought of transportation types will be kept in mind; so bikes and other wheels may be allowed. With this furniture and color selections will be chosen to help engage people in a more active lifestyle.
