Year: Sophomore Email: bgsween2@illinois.edu What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Getting to know girls from other chapters and experiencing rush from a different perspective. My biggest fear about being a Gamma Chi: Being responsible for making sure the girls going through rush have a good experience. Fun fact: I danced for 15 years. Year: Sophomore Email: mikayla2125@gmail.com What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I’m looking forward to becoming a leader and helping guide all the girls looking for the perfect sorority to fit them. I’m also excited to meet all the Gamma Chis and form everlasting friendships. My biggest fear about being a Gamma Chi: Not being able to help one of the girls going through recruitment. Fun fact: I am from a very small town in southern Illinois, Nashville. I graduated with 90 people and was President of my class. I love the country but also enjoy the city! I’m also obsessed with the St. Louis Cardinals and go to about 15-20 games a year.

Effie Tounas Jessica Trunzo Katie Walka

Year: Sophomore Email: tounas2@illinois.edu What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Working with the PNMs and being able to share my experience of Greek life with them in order to excite them and make them feel comfortable with the Recruitment process. My biggest fear about being a Gamma Chi: Not being able to help a group of PNMs in a time of need (ex. Not being able to answer a question, not having extra supplies for them, etc.) Fun fact: I am able to speak, read, and write in the Greek language.

Year: Sophomore Email: trunzo2@illinois.edu What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I’m excited to help the PNMs have a memorable recruitment experience, just like I had! My biggest fear about being a Gamma Chi: Although it might be challenging to not associate with members from our own chapters during recruitment, this will give us the opportunity to become closer with other girls in the Greek system, since we are all Greek together. Fun fact: I have played golf since I was five.

Year: Junior Email: walka2@illinois.edu What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I’m looking forward to seeing other chapter’s recruitment processes; I’m especially excited to see everyone’s songs and videos! My biggest fear about being a Gamma Chi: I’m afraid that a potential new member will approach me with a question that I have absolutely no idea how to answer correctly. Fun fact: I have a double major in Spanish, so I like to (try) and carry out conversations in Spanish when the opportunity arises.

Nicole Wank

My biggest fear about being a Gamma Chi: Having to tell a PNM she didn’t get invited back to any chapters. Fun fact: I will love you forever if you give me anything with Oreos!

Danielle Welk

Year: Junior Email: welk2@illinois.edu What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I’m most looking forward to more of the team building activities and getting to know all the other girls from different chapters. My biggest fear about being a Gamma Chi: If I say something wrong to one of the PNMs or am not sure how to answer one of their questions. But so far, the class has been extremely helpful. Fun fact: I was named after Tropical Storm Danielle that hit on the day I was born.

Grace Williams
