Located around 200 km out of Hanoi, the bay covers an area of more than 1500 square kilometers and is dotted with thousands of limestone islands, which are rising from the clear green waters like sculptures carved by the Gods. Come and see that Vietnamese call “the descending dragon”. 8.00: Our driver picks up at your hotel and transfer to Halong wharf. We enjoy a great cruise on a private junk through the wonderful world of the bay (approx. 4 hours). Visit Dau Do Cave (grotto of the wooden stakes) where in 1288 one of Vietnam‟s most famous Generals, Tran Hung Dao amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongol army. Then we visit the stunning Thien Cung cave (Heavenly Palace Cave), famous for its stalagmites and stalactites the cave has only been opened to the public since 1998. DAY 01: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL (D) Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat international airport, you are warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to city central for checking in hotel. Tonight, your dinner will be served at restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. DAY 2: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR (B, L, D) After breakfast at hotel, we take a half day of city tour to visit all attractive tourist destinations of this bustling city. Firstly is the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, followed by some French colonial structures including the Old Saigon Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. We then go to Jade Emperor Pagoda- one of very interesting pagoda in town. We have lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon, we go visit Dong Khoi, one of the city‟s main shopping boulevards before having a cyclo tour, winding through Saigon‟s vibrant streets to Chinatown and its bustling markets. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war. DAY 4: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA – BANG LANG STORK GARDEN – CAN THO (B, L, D) We welcome a new day with buffet breakfast at your hotel then we check out hotel to transfer to Mekong Delta – bowl of rice of Vietnam. Today, we visit My Tho located on the northern banks of Mekong River and is the closet town in the Delta to Ho Chi Minh. After two hours of driving, reach to My Tho for boat trip on the Mekong River then move to local garden restaurant for lunch. We then keep driving to Can Tho and head to Bang Lang stork garden for bird watching. Later, we come back to mean city and having dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Can Tho city DAY 5: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET- SAI GON (B, L, D) After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Phong Dien floating market which is at its busiest at this time of day. Keep cruising through the small channels system to visit a rice noodle making village. We also have a chance to experience the "Monkey Bridge" in the Delta. Then we visit a second floating market (Cai Rang) – one of the most famous and biggest floating market in Mekong Delta to chat with locals, enjoy some fruits you like or just have a look. DAY 7: HOI AN – MY SON – THE WORLD HERITAGE – HOI AN (B, L, D) Breakfast at hotel, then meet our tour guide for transferring to My Son. Visit My Son Holy land, the ancient Cham Pa people were raised to be “the masters of art in building brick”. So far the technique in building the ancient temple - towers of Cham Pa people remains controversial. The brick were smoothed and laid closely and securely without mortar. My Son‟s value is also reflected in the art of lively and fine sculpture and carving on brick, stone from the images of deities, priests, dances, plants, animals and sacrifices... Have lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, you will make walking tour to visit Hoi An ancient town – a famous harbor in 15thcentury. Visit Phuc Kien pagoda, handicraft villages in Hoi An, enjoy traditional music show, Tan Ky old house, Japanese Bridge… Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 8: HOI AN – HUE (B, L, D) Breakfast at hotel, then meet guide and driver for departing to Hue City- the old capital, 90 km from Hoi An to the North. We begin the city tour with a dragon boat trip along the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda. Here we can offer prayers t o Buddha and also to the pagoda‟s most famous monk - Thich Quang Duc who set fire to himself at a busy Saigon intersection in 1963 as a protest against the persecution of Buddhists by South Vietnam's regime. We continue on to the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang and the old Coliseum before having lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, there will be a guided tour of the Royal Citadel and Forbidden City which was modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. Later, we go visit some local workshops to witness the process of incent stick and conical hat making. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Hue city. DAY 9: HUE – HANOI (B, L, D) Breakfast at hotel and have free time at your leisure before transferring to the airport for short flight to Hanoi city.
