HOMECOMING
WELCOME BACK TO HANOVER COLLEGE! There is something very special about returning to the place where you made so many changes in your life. Coming home to Hanover in the fall is even more special. At this time of year, our campus transforms from beautiful to spectacular and we invite you to come witness its beauty again during Homecoming. If you haven’t visited recently, you’re sure to notice many new faces and changes because our College is still growing. What has not changed is the spirit that is Hanover. Part of that spirit is the extent to which we are student-focused. I believe Hanover College is by far, one of the most student-focused campuses around, but our goal is to get even better! By expanding international study trips, enhancing outdoor athletic facilities, infusing innovative teaching practices, and highlighting some of our best academic programs, our focus will continue to be on the students’ total educational experience, just as it was when you were here. We would love to see you back on campus again. Many of our events are family-friendly and there are a lot of opportunities for you to reconnect with old friends and relive some of the special moments in your life. Come enjoy the ‘Happy Snaps Photo Booth’ at registration, the annual 5K run, athletic and tailgate events, several Student Organization Mini-Reunions, a faculty recital, a Step Show, live concerts and much, much more! Be sure to read about and sign up family members for our new, comprehensive Legacy Program. More information can be found at www.hanover.edu/ legacy. And lastly, don’t forget to put that old flute or trombone to good use by bringing it to registration to donate to Hanover’s Instrumental Music Program for students to use. Help keep the Hanover Spirit growing and join us at Homecoming this year! Sue DeWine President, Hanover College
