Introduction
Our Story
I founded Hansab 26 years ago, when the Baltic countries regained independence from the Soviet Union. My goal was to open a company, which by using new technologies and knowhow from abroad, would help our countries advance. Thus, attaining the level of the Western world. When we started, there was not yet a market and the competition was slight. On several occasions, we proposed solutions that the market was not ready for. However, the business environment started to advance rapidly in the Baltics, making our innovative approach a competitive advantage. The Baltic market today has grown and has become well developed. The Baltic customers we worked together were always open minded and challenged us to develop further. From the establishment of the company, Hansab only worked in the banking and finance sector, but as the company and expertise grew, we expanded to retail, public, healthcare, industry and other sectors. Both technology and society develop dynamically. Hence, Hansab follows the trends to be the leading partner in innovative technology solutions by increasing our partner list and dedicating time and resources to the development of the best solutions on the market. Sincerely, Aigar Urva

SĂźdameapteek
With 72 pharmacies, the SĂźdameapteek chain is one of the biggest pharmacy chains in Estonia. In order to offer an even better level of customer service, the chain decided to start using customer flow management systems in the largest pharmacies.
The customer management systems are widely used in retail and customer service businesses, but only a few systems are being used in pharmacies. However, queuing systems are very necessary in pharmacies, because customers want to talk about their problems with the pharmacist in private, without other people standing in line behind them. The queuing system in the SĂźdameapteek chain operates with the Q-Win Solo ticket printer with a builtin webserver. The complete system consists of an LCD ticket printer, customer displays, and online call-terminals. The Q-Win Solo web based software allows real-time monitoring of waiting customers and service times, and it also generates statistical reports. North Estonia Medical Centre The North Estonia Medical Centre is a patientcentered medical institution. The Centre has more than 3,800 employees – doctors, nurses, caregivers and specialists – working for the good of patients. The hospital consists of seven clinics and 32 specialist centres.
Hansab installed a unique integrated patient flow management system in the Emergency Medicine Unit of the North Estonia Medical Centre. This system is one of a kind in the Baltics. Arriving at the emergency room, the patient takes a number from the patient flow management system. When the number is due, the patient is registered and referred to the nurse for medical condition appraisal. Depending on the category of help needed the nurse prints a wristband with a barcode, bearing the information of the patient. The patients are attended to the emergency room according to the queue number.

The role of the barcode solution is that after making necessary procedures, the customers register themselves at the self-service kiosk, and the nurse immediately receives information about it and can call the patient in. Karl Storz
Karl Storz is Europe’s biggest manufacturer of medical instruments with headquarters in Germany. Karl Storz Video Endoscopy in Estonia is one of the fastest developing and manufacturing units in the group which deals with the assembly and tuning of medical endoscopes.
In summer 2016, new manufacturing, service and office building of Karl Storz Video Endoscopy Estonia OÜ was built in Laagri with neto area of 8760 m2. Hansab built the surveillance system of the building, delivered Suprema biometrical system readers and installed the turnstiles. Suprema access system is very practical in manufacturing as the employees don’t have to carry access cards, chips etc. Secure access is granted by using the fingerprint. Also, time attendance is solved with same modules. The surveillance system is based on Inner Range Integriti devices. It is contemporary surveillance system which enables the client to arm the system flexibly and give employees different right to arm or disarm the system.
Hansab Portfolio
Both employees and guests can be controlled by access gates installed in the lobby. Turnstile was chosen in cooperation with interior designers so their design would fit in the interior. Cominfo glass access gates are robust and of high quality and fit well to the modern design of the building.

Achema
Achema is a leading producer of nitrogen fertilizers and chemical products in Lithuania and the Baltics. Achema employs more than 1400 people and their annual fertilizer production accounts to about 2.7 million tonnes.
Hansab has modernised the company’s video surveillance systems from analogue to digital. The key problem the company faced was an outdated analogue video surveillance structure, where some of the locations were not monitored. The old cameras were unable to recognise and identify moving objects. Hence, the biggest issue was the inability to ensure security in the territory. The solution installed consists of centrally connected high resolution IP video surveillance cameras. The systems are managed centrally and the data is transmitted via optical net.
Hansab Portfolio
To ensure maximum safety and smooth access control, Cominfo speed gates provide user comfort and demands on minimum space. Simple design in combination with stainless steel and glass make this type of turnstile a unique and attractive component.

During the reconstructions, Hansab’s task was to build new video surveillance system as well as to renovate the old system and we also built access and surveillance system. We exchanged the existing access system with new Integriti system, also we used Integriti for time and attendance solution. We also integrated Sony video surveillance system and Integriti surveillance system and although it’s not extraordinary to integrate video surveillance and surveillance systems, Sony and Integriti systems were connected for the first time in Estonia.
Hansab Portfolio
This kind of solution was chosen because in manufacturing high quality video image and promp reaction to any kind of improper activites are very important. We could recommend this kind of system to anybody who needs the integration of surveillance and time and attendance integration for example manufacturing plants which employ lots of people. Customer’s feedback to Hansab’s work has been very positive: also turnstiles and parking barriers were ordered from us and we installed a modern time system as well.
