Lindsey Neill is the maker behind Pen + Paper Patterns. Her mission is to give people the confidence, knowledge, and freedom to create what inspires them - one pattern at a time! Her designs draw inspiration from everyday objects and turn them into modern and whimsical quilt patterns.

Here are some of her latest designs that you are going to want to make whatever your sewing skills level!

Designed For Advanced Beginners

The Folk Blooms Quilt (56½in x 69in) is a block based pattern for making a scrappy version of the quilt using fat quarters.

For More Advanced Beginners

The Sparrows Quilt (65½in x 71in) is a traditionally pieced, block based pattern, and includes instructions for making a scrappy version of the quilt using fat quarters.

FOR THE INTERMEDIATE SEWIST & UP

The Oak Moth Quilt (57in x 67½in) is fat quarter and half-yard friendly and includes instructions for piecing a single moth and fern block. The 12-page pattern is thorough, detailed, and features colourful illustrations.

The following quilt patterns come with comprehensive detailed instructions and diagrams, bonus project ideas with instruction, tags for labelling your cuts of fabric, customised layout ideas, and colouring pages!

The Just My Type quilt (54½in x 64 ½in) is traditionally pieced and the typewriter and letter blocks include their own cutting and assembly instructions.

The traditionally pieced Kitten Around Quilt pattern (48½ in square) is perfect for cat lovers, and uses conventional piecing with directions for replacing the paper pieced sections with one piece of fabric if desired. Each kitten finishes to a 18in square so are ideal for mini quilts, pillows and more!

Dog Pile (48½ in square) is the canine follow-up to the Kitten Around pattern.

The Pineberry quilt (60½in x 68¾in) is traditionally pieced and is fat quarterfriendly and recommended for the advanced beginner sewist and up. The pattern includes a bonus Jam Jar block pattern and instruction for an alternate quilt layout.

Forest Fungi is a woodland inspired, traditionally pieced quilt that can be made into a throw or baby size quilt. There’s also bonus instructions for making an 18in square zippered cushion using the Mushroom block!

Book Nook is a traditionally pieced, fat quarter friendly quilt that measures 64½in x 70½in. This quilt is made up of two blocks - The Personal Library block and the Best Seller block and also includes a bonus Open Book block pattern, which is great for quilt labels, tote bags and cushions.

Another traditionally pieced quilt, The Everbloom Quilt pattern is ideal for intermediate sewists and comes in a crib size (47½in x 52 ½in) and a large throw size (69½in x 79in).

Modern Hexies is a faster version of traditional English Paper Piecing, but with a modern spin. This pattern gives you full instructions for a decorative pillow, but can also be used to create your own Modern Hexies project.

The Pivot Quilt is the fifth quilt in the solid series, and the design focusses on solid fabrics and negative space. This quilt has the potential to be made into the following quilts: baby, throw, twin, full, queen and king size.
