Time is running out as our animal friends in the wild are facing grave danger. To help these animals, you need to step into the shoes of a Junior Explorer and complete five missions. As you go about accomplishing your missions, you will unearth the threats faced by our animal friends and learn how you can make a positive difference in changing the situation.

Do you have what it takes to be a Junior Explorer? Disclaimer:

Camp S.O.S (Save our Space) @ Tree Tops Trail

Remember to drop by Camp S.O.S where you can learn more about the major threats that are pushing countless wildlife onto the road to extinction. Release of unwanted pet by irresponsible pet owners, littering and pollution problems, and the illegal wildlife trade are causing the death of tens of thousands of wild animals.

BUT, it’s not all doom and gloom. The good news is that we, as individuals, can do our part in helping wildlife and the environment. Every effort counts. Together, we can save our living space and share it with the animals.

They are to return and feed the chicks by regurgitating the food. However, after a long wait, the parents are nowhere to be seen. Why are they taking so long to return? One reason could be that the parent penguins have to spend lots of time looking for fish because there aren’t enough around.

Alien Invaders @ Garden With a View

What a beautiful view of the Seletar Reservoir. Suddenly, ‘aliens’ appear. Some of these ‘aliens’ were once pets whose owners got tired of them and released them into the reservoir. Others were mercy-released as part of a religious rite. These ‘aliens’ do not have natural predators and multiply quickly, threatening local animals.

Your Mission:

Remove the ‘aliens’ that are not found naturally in Singapore so that the local species have a better chance for survival. I have managed to remove ________ alien species within 30 seconds.

Stop the Invasion!

Unprepared pet owners may find that their pets grow too big, live unexpectedly long, or produce lots of waste. Before you decide to get a pet, read up about it and be sure that you are able to care for it. Pets are for life!
