The technology involved in mobile phones keeps evolving year by year, and each year we are seeing devices that are more advanced and smarter than ever before. Recently, with 4G technologies becoming more and more mainstream, mobile phones have also picked up on and embraced this trend whereas before the majority of mobile phones focused on 3G. This is for the simple reason that you can do more with a 4G-enabled mobile phone than you would be able to do with an ordinary handset. However, as is the case with anything, supply and demand will eventually see 4G prices equated with 3G prices. This is because as competition mounts, the downward pressure in prices will come to mean that 4G Smartphone contracts will be priced similarly to 3G contracts.
