Delta 8 is federally legal, and in addition to the legality of it, the big buzz behind the Delta 8 craze has been driven by the hemp industry as a way to entice people looking for the psychoactive mind relief of THC. So this month the Munkey crew decided to see what the hype was all about! For starters, the body of the vape is a sleek, lightweight red pen with an extremely easy consumption method. Similar to a Juul vape, just inhale and the device does the rest. Off the first pull my lungs were filled with smoke, and on the exhale I enjoyed the terpene-infused taste that tickled my nose hairs. Within a few seconds, I could feel the head rush, similar to taking a hit from a regular THC Dab pen but just a tad more mellow. After a few more drags I wasn't "High", but I definitely was not sober. Something to note that I liked is when using the Delta 8 you feel the potency of the hit on the exhale, not the inhale. Differentiating it from other standard nicotine vapes you will find. Ultimately Delta 8 vapes are amazing for on-the-go consumption when you need a little buzz but can’t risk any of the fogginess of being too HIGH. I am not sure where the Delta 8 fad will end up but like the CBD boom before it, nothing hits quite like full-spectrum cannabis.
