“...Joel has my strongest recommendation” “I was recommended to Joel from a friend and he lived up to all expectations. The property was an investment property and I lived in a different city which could have made the process extremely difficult. However, Joel assisted in getting the property ready for sale and kept me up to date with all developments regarding the property through the whole process. Along with his market knowledge and experience, Joel was able to present to me a number of offers - all above expectations - within 7 days of the property being on the market. Joel provided excellent support and guidance through the acceptance process which ultimately led to the successful sale of the property. Joel is an extremely effective communicator and possesses an in-depth knowledge of the market in the south of Tasmania. Joel has my strongest recommendation to anyone considering selling their property.”

Harcourts Signature and the community

Harcourts Foundation

Autumn Festival

HeartKids

In August 2008, Harcourts asked one simple question: How can we better support the local communities that have supported us? This one question led to the establishment of The Harcourts Foundation.

The Derwent Valley Autumn Festival was an idea conceived by two Derwent Valley Councillors who wanted to build greater social capital for the local community. With the community having gone through a depressed period for a number of years, they felt that a ‘vehicle’ was needed to give expression to the positive aspects of the Derwent Valley.

Working with health professionals, Heartkids provides lifelong support to those with childhood heart disease and their families. We also fund life-saving research, advocate for the needs of children with CHD & their families, and provide information and education.

The Harcourts Foundation has raised over $4 million since 2008 and assisted hundreds of charitable organisations throughout Australia and the world, with a percentage of every sale donated. At Harcourts we aim to change lives and make dreams come true – the work of The Harcourts Foundation is a continuation of this. Read more at harcourtsfoundation.org.

Enjoying one of the most picturesque settings anywhere in the state, the festival marks a special time of the year. Harcourts is delighted to sponsor this great community event.

Super Boss Day is a fun new initiative where bosses and co-workers dress as a superhero for a day to raise funds for HeartKids to support kids with heart disease. In 2017 Harcourts Signature was proud to support this initiative, raising hundreds of dollars for Heartkids.

“...a fantastic agent” “Joel was a fantastic agent, and made the selling of our house very easy! He was dedicated to finding the best possible price he could for us, and was also there helping us trying to find a new home to live in. But his commitment did not stop there! On one Saturday, Joel rolled up the suit sleeves and helped me garden the front area of my house. This just shows Joel’s great character. A super agent and super guy.”

“...extremely helpful & professional” “I recently bought my home through Joel Nielsen and found him to be extremely helpful and professional. He was always very quick to respond to messages and calls and was very accommodating when it came to organising further inspections of the property during the settlement period. Joel made the whole experience easy and I would highly recommend him.”

Fleur

“...kept us informed at every step” “Joel did an excellent job of selling our house. He listened to our needs and worked accordingly to achieve the outcome we wanted! Kept us informed at every step of the way. Strongly recommended!”

“...professional expertise & skills” “I just wanted to take the time, as I had always planned to do, to say my thanks and give recognition for the personal and professional efforts of our agent, Joel Nielsen. Joel, I noticed on your first visit with us, and it became more obvious as time went on, that you are a kind and dedicated man in your work. I want to congratulate you for your ability to handle challenging and pressure situations with a great amount of calm, politeness, and respect to those around you. You managed to convey your professional expertise and skills, without ever pressuring clients or using alternate tactics. You remained yourself throughout the duration of our time on the market, and supported us, but also educated and tried to guide many times along the way as well. I am impressed that you managed to help us understand the market and what we needed to do without every being pushy or opinionated. You really listened to us, tried to understand our feelings and position, and you always showed your support. To sum it up we think you are very clever to manage to perform at such a professional level, despite the many challenges within your work. Thank you for making this time for us a stressless experience. We wish you and your family all the best in the future.”

“...worked very hard” “Joel worked very hard to sell our property, even during what was a busy family time with the birth of his son. He explored many options to get as many people to look at our house as possible and always communicated well with us. We were also very impressed with the way the team at Harcourts worked together to sell our house.”

Natalie

“...professional and courteous” “Joel Nielsen made it very easy. Joel showed me through this property and was incredibly professional and courteous. Although this property didn’t meet my needs he was able to recommend similar properties within my price bracket!”

Jenny

“...highly recommended” “Joel is a very professional person. I highly recommend Joel to anyone selling their home, he is very kind & punctual person, thank you for selling our home so fast!”

“...Joel was a revelation” “Joel entered our lives when having our property on the market with another real estate company for over 12 months with no result. Joel was a revelation with a confidence that was catching. We knew we had the right man there and then. He has not disappointed us in any way and has sold the property.”
