The objective is to be able to train medical professionals to be able to identify on-site, the proportion of patients who do not need immediate emergency medical care.A large issue even in developed countries is the wastage of resources on patients who did not need to be taken to the hospital and could have just been treated minimally on site.

This does however require that there be a staff of well trained human resources who can accurately decide how to triage victims on site and decipher whether they need emergency medical attention or not.
