Northwave again with Merida Italia Team Even in the Offroad season 2016 Merida Italia Team (Hard Rock Race Team) will rely on the support of a prestigious partner as Northwave: a partnership consolidated by living side by side for several seasons, which is renewed in 2016 with unchanged enthusiasm.

At the end of last season the economic difficulties of the Sports Association of Piacenza had compromised the continuation of the "Under 23 project", a path that has accompanied the growth of talented athletes, beginning with Gioele Bertolini.

However the management and the staff have not losen heart, and with the support of sponsors such as Northwave have managed to restart with a group of interesting athletes of Juniores category.

Also, thanks to the efforts of Northwave, especially from Giancarlo Bettin, has joined the family of Merida Italia Team the new Cyclocross Italian Champion (cat. Juniores) Jakob Dorigoni. The South Tyrolean athlete will join his new teammates at the end of the cyclocross season, to face together the XC season, starting with Internazionali d'Italia Series.

The goal will be to grow gradually over the year, trying to pay back with the achiviements the partners like Northwave, which will provide training shoes Extreme XC camo, Extreme Tech Plus camo socks, Skeleton gloves, Storm camo helmets and Galaxy glasses.
