Welcome to the 2010-2011 Performing Arts Season at Harford Community College. Each year, we host a variety of cultural opportunities from national touring acts to local resident companies, jazz to classical to folk, opera to ballet to musical comedy. From month to month and year to year, you never know who will be gracing our stages – but you can be sure they will create an unforgettable evening. Check the various listings in the Fine Arts Calendar to select all of your favorites, but remember many shows sell out fast. Avoid disappointment by ordering your tickets early.

Jeffrey Stockbridge is a Philadelphia, PA based photographer whose work explores various aspects of his hometown’s culture. He has focused on subjects ranging from abandoned houses and artifacts to drugs and prostitution within the city. His largeformat color images have been exhibited in several major group shows and have won numerous prestigious awards, including the 2009 Founders Award from The Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia and a 2009 Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Grant.

An Evening of jazz: EOJ albert rivera quartet Albert Rivera The Albert Rivera Quartet has been eight years in the making. Based in New York City‚ he is joined by some of the newest faces in jazz. Parking is available adjacent to both theaters with overflow available across the street. The Box Office opens 45 minutes prior to the performance for patrons to pick up willcall tickets and purchase remaining tickets at the door. Tickets may be purchased with cash, checks or credit cards (all major cards are accepted).
As a courtesy to our patrons, we require that children be at least 3 years old to attend our performances. Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket.

At the Theater
Premier seating is the same price for adults and youth. All other seating prices vary by age. Minimum age: 3 years Theaters are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Patrons should alert staff to any special needs when purchasing tickets. An assistive listening system is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is limited. Plan to arrive early. Doors open twenty to thirty minutes prior to the performance. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager. Food and/or drinks are not allowed in the theater. Harford Community College is a tobacco-free campus, including parking lots and personal vehicles. Smoking is not permitted at the Amoss Center and on Harford Technical High School grounds. Tape recorders, cell phones and cameras are not allowed. Using recording equipment or taking photographs in the theater during a performance is strictly prohibited.

HDT holds open auditions, sponsors yearround dance training, and offers master classes and workshops open to the community taught by professional dance artists with local and international credits.
3 Phoenix Festival Theater (PFT) is a community theater company that provides its members with a forum for the promotion, education and support of theater in the community. PFT produces three productions annually and welcomes community members to open auditions for each production. Productions provide local actors, directors, designers and tech crew with the opportunity to work in a semiprofessional milieu.
