YOGA TEACHER TRAINING SCHOLARSHIPS IN RISHIKESH -HARI OM YOGA VIDYA SCHOOL Starting February 2018, limited number of scholarships (6) are available for students who want to complete their 200 hours yoga teacher training at our school. The aim of the scholarship is to maintain a diverse class size, with students representing different countries, economic levels as well as yoga experience level. Â The scholarships are available to all deserving students both with or without prior experience in the field of yoga. However, the students must demonstrate a need for scholarship while enrolling. Under no circumstance the amount and number of scholarships shall exceed the defined quantity.Â
While selecting students for scholarship, we will look into factors such as their country of domicile, motivation and financial needs. The students who demonstrate a deep desire to learn both Hatha and Ashtanga in 200 hours yoga teacher training will be given preference since our course is designed to cover both disciplines. Amount of Scholarship: Full and partial tuition scholarships are available to students. The maximum amount of scholarship is USD 400( the tuition fees). To become eligible for the scholarships, the students must be able to demonstrate the need of scholarship. We will also assess the experience of the students. If the scholarship request of a student is accepted, he/she will be granted concession on the tuition fees. However, the student must pay for the boarding and food. Since we are a close knit institution, we currently do not allow students to stay off the school campus.

Important points: 1. The accommodation for scholarship holding students is limited to shared rooms. The students are eligible to upgrade it to private room by paying the extra amount, depending on the availability of the rooms. 2. The scholarship is available only for 200 hours yoga teacher training students. 3. The students who have received scholarship will have to pay an advance deposit to confirm the acceptance of their admission within 3 days from the date of receiving the scholarship. The amount received is non-refundable and will be adjusted in their accommodation fees on arrival.
4. The week-end excursion trips are optional and are not included in the scholarship. The details of the excursion activities will be shared with students during the time at school. 5. The allotment of scholarship is at the sole discretion of the school’s management committee. The decision of the committee will be final and binding on all students.
