Save Lifta consists on an experimental project crossing the implications of architectural preservation on socio/political and religious matters where Jerusalem and the village of Lifta become laboratories for that matter.
Lifta, surrendered by force and abandoned during the Al-Nakba (“the catastrophe”), is a Palestinian village emptied from its native population in 1948 and dating from biblical times. It is also the last Palestinian village standing within the limits of the holy city of Jerusalem.
