This trend report has been created for AW17 by Craze the Trend Agency. We will take you through nine trends for 2017 relating to three different categories; Visual and Instore Merchandising, Print and Graphic and Womens Sportswear. It aims to determine certain patterns within these categories along with briefly describing each component to provide a summative analysis regarding the findings of the report.

Mannequins that are more relatable to the consumer will only encourage a purchase. Whereas if the consumer can’t relate to the mannequins size or personality then it is less attractive to them.

For Spring Summer 2017, we are seeing the Neon trend in clothing on the catwalk. These three images are taken from the NYFW Trend Guide Spring 2017. We are seeing a bright and colourful palette for this Spring Summer.

39 Art and fashion are strongly connected, they are constantly influencing eachother throughout time.

The few abstract artists chosen have a strong correlation with the specific catwalk garments, Prada, Miu Miu and Armani. You can see a clear connection between art and fashion here which suggests in 2017 we will see strong influences from art on the catwalks and trickled down to the highstreet.

We are seeing both mesh and this fish net look throughout fashion and sportswear, neither taking more dominance than the other. See through is a dominant trend where we are seeing layers underneath; such as bralets. We are seeing fish net socks and tights either on their own or under ripped jeans become a statement to any chic outfit.
