BVD DECLARATION All animals entered for sale must be tested and vaccinated for the following: BVD / Antigen Eliza test. WITHDRAWAL FROM SALE Conditions from Holstein UK - “The vendor shall not withdraw from any sale any animal catalogued for sale, except for good reason to be established to the satisfaction of and approved by the Council of the Society, or by the auctioneers, acting for the council”. SUBSTITUTES No substitutes are permitted.
Class
1. British Friesian Bull 2. Senior Bull 3. Intermediate Bull 4. Junior Bull Classes 2-4 will be divided exactly by age on sale day. NB - Class 1 bulls must be 87.5% pure Friesian to comply.
The Holstein Champion will receive a cash prize together with the Mr & Mrs TN Hill Perpetual Trophy. The Friesian Champion will also receive a cash prize together with a Challenge Cup Trophy.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY ANIMALS IN THE HANDS OF THE BREEDER WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP Would vendors please note that only 305 day (or less) lactations will be accepted for the Catalogue. Lifetime yields are, of course, acceptable.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGISTER ANIMALS No ASR Animals will be accepted for Show & Sale. EAR TAGS To comply with current DEFRA Regulations on the Entry Form, Vendors must ensure that the ear numbers of any animal entered for the sale are stated. PHOTOGRAPHS Vendors are welcome to include good quality black and white photographs of closely related animals with their entries. The cost of £20 + VAT per photograph, limited to two per entry. The Auctioneers reserve the right to reject photographs if they consider them to be of insufficient quality or too remote from the pedigree. ENTRY FEES These prices are based on a three generation pedigree and additional notes Male: £25 + VAT (£30); Entry fees must accompany entry forms otherwise entries will not be accepted. PEDIGREE CERTIFICATES The pedigree certificate (or copy thereof) must be included with the entry form. ENTRY FORMS The entry form must be correctly completed and these are available on request from the auctioneers.
