The celebration starts in the Brompton Road windows with 12 brands, many of which have designed capsule collections exclusively for us. There’s also Made to Measure weekend from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th October, when tailors from the finest menswear brands will offer customisation services on a range of tailoring and accessories.

We don’t often go on about how good we are. Because we’re British and really good at understatement. But today we’re going to go against the grain. Act a little bit out of character. Because we’ve got something to shout about, and we’re fantastically proud.

Harrods Man: Cover to Cover is a celebration of all things masculine. We have a lot of men’s stuff at Harrods, including many exclusive items, so it’s a no-brainer. We offer everything from cashmere to Cognac, proper tailoring to proper tea, track pants to silk ties, and totally addictive games that sneak out of the Toy Kingdom into grown men’s carrier

bags. But throughout October we decided to give men some welly by showcasing all the totally awesome stuff throughout the store.

So there’s even more wine and fashion and gadgets. More male stuff.

The editorial equivalent to all this hoopla comes in the form of Harrods Man magazine.

Our 28 restaurants span Middle Eastern, Asian, British, French and Italian cuisine – and many more – with everything from finger sandwiches for afternoon tea to generously stacked burgers made from Wagyu beef for a hearty lunch.

FIRST FLOOR MANGO TREE Renowned for its authentic dishes and exotic flavours, Asian specialist chef Ian Pengelley’s Mango Tree has a menu featuring Thai curries, Chinese dumplings and roasted meats, and Vietnamese pho (noodle soup) with Wagyu beef.

NEW THIS MONTH

For 12 weeks, the chef behind Marlow’s The Hand and Flowers, Tom Kerridge, will bring his love of traditional cooking to the Traiteur in the Food Halls.

Takeaway dishes will include chicken Kiev with mushroom ketchup, and chocolate-and-ale mousse with salted caramel and frosted pecans. Kerridge will also host a pop-up restaurant, Tom’s Table, in the historic Food Halls from 2nd to 8th November.
