Our season opens with a theatrical trio of plays which have our beautiful county of Yorkshire running through them. Dracula sees Blackeyed Theatre Company bring the infamous Whitby haunting ghost to life. Alan Ayckbourn’s Table Manners and John Godber’s Perfect Pitch will bring their unique northern humour to the Harrogate Theatre stage as we warm up towards our 15th Comedy Festival.

We are thrilled to welcome a hilarious host of new discoveries and living legends to our October funny fest. Lucy Beaumont, Su Pollard and Jimmy Tarbuck join us alongside Tez Ilyas, Kiri Pritchard-McLean,

Alison Larkin and many more as we bring the haha to Harrogate in October.

At the Royal Hall and Harrogate Convention Centre there’s a host of big names including Jimmy Carr and Beverley Knight. And don't miss Music Week in October half-term which has audio treats for all your music tastes.

And, of course, no autumn season would be complete without our pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, which promises to be more spectacular than ever!

Norman is an unlikely Lothario. When he tells his career-obsessed wife Ruth that he is going away on business, he is in reality planning an illicit weekend with his sister-in-law Annie. But their plans are ruined by the arrival of Annie’s brother Reg and his prudish wife Sarah. Too much alcohol, too much sexual tension and too little food, and you have the perfect recipe for a disastrously hilarious weekend of eating, drinking, and misunderstanding. Ayckbourn’s comic genius comes to Harrogate in this award-winning show by the team that brought you HT Rep, Phil&Ben Productions.

This comedy is hilarious and unsettling, as Matt and Rose are inducted into the world of caravanning and karaoke. Class and toilet cassettes become an issue, as Godber reignites his classic comedy set on an eroding coastline.
