Our summer season is packed with a brilliant programme of events !

We have a fantastic comedy line up including John Bishop, Ed Gamble, Punt and Dennis and Sarah Millican.

Drama will see Godber back with Happy Jack. As an alternative drama recommendation there is ROTTEN, which explores themes that are poignant to the lives of young people, the cost of living, capitalism, mental health and social media. It shines a light on the economic and social crisis that is happening in Britain today, with sharp observation and biting wit. The play builds on certain devices you’ve seen before in classic thrillers, before twisting and turning them in directions you won’t see coming.

As ever we have a tribute feel good musical offer that celebrates some of the legendary and greats of the industry including Joni Mitchell, Roy Orbison, Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac and Thin Lizzy to name but a few.

There’s always an alternative to explore at Harrogate Theatre, so how about La Voix direct from the West End. Their Red Ambition Tour promises an evening like no other, with huge vocals, a live band and side-splitting comedy.

Thank you once again for all your support. I hope to see you at Harrogate Theatre very soon.

TABLE MANNERS

TUE 17–SAT 21 SEP, 2PM, 7:30PM ||

Price: £24/£20

Norman is an unlikely Lothario. When he tells his career-obsessed wife Ruth that he is going away on business, he is in reality planning an illicit weekend with his sister-in-law Annie. But their plans are ruined by the arrival of Annie’s brother Reg and his prudish wife Sarah.

Too much alcohol, too much sexual tension and too little food, and you have the perfect recipe for a disastrously hilarious weekend of eating, drinking, and misunderstanding.

Ayckbourn’s comic genius comes to Harrogate in this award-winning show by the team that brought you HT Rep...Phil&Ben Productions.

PERFECT PITCH

TUE 24 – SAT 28 SEP, 2PM, 7:30PM ||

Price: £24/£18

When teacher Matt borrows his parents’ caravan for a week on the Yorkshire coast with partner Rose, they were expecting four days of hill running and total de-stress. But with a Tribfest taking place nearby, Grant and Steph’s pop-up tent is an unwelcome addition to their perfect pitch.

This comedy is hilarious and unsettling, as Matt and Rose are inducted into the world of caravanning and karaoke. Class and toilet cassettes become an issue, as Godber reignites his classic comedy set on an eroding coastline.
