System solutions for air rescue and air medical services
The next generation
Air medical services and intensive care tran
Developed for highest demands – the corpuls3
Few areas in the emergency and intensive care fields have the high demands and requirements of the rescue personnel and their equipment when involved in air medical work. In the confined space and noisy operational area, with patients who are generally in a critical condition. The corpuls3 has been developed for these exacting conditions. Due to the modular concept and the range of air worthy approved mountings the corpuls3 system offers unrivalled ergonomics and functionality for air medical personnel involved in these emergency operations. The ability to use the monitoring unit with the patient box as a stand alone intensive care monitor indicates the flexibility of the system to the air rescue/medical services.

The advantages for the practical operation in an air medical situation: • Save time during loading and unloading – Time saving handling – simple application – No unnecessary disconnection and connection of ECG- and sensor cables – Uninterrupted monitoring • Save weight and costs – The modular concept of corpuls3 replaces a multiparameter monitor and a defibrillator/pacer unit in one single unit – Only one system for all
• Alarm management – Integrated visual alarm through illuminated jog-dial – Acoustic alarms on Patient box and Monitoring unit • Ergonomics and functionality – A wide product range of air worthy approved mountings – Maximum flexibility – Ergonomic positioning of modules: direct visibility on monitor
Air ambulance service
Monitoring and therapy of a new generation – the corpuls3 The repatriation of ill or injured patients from abroad by the air medical services is continuously increasing. During the transfer of these patients from foreign hospitals – with limited medical aid – the retrieval teams need reliable mobile medical equipment. The corpuls3 meets these requirements. With its intelligent battery management system along with the special mountings, the device offers the basic requirements for a professional and economical operation. Its separated modules can be safely and ergonomically mounted in the ambulance aircraft and are continuously connected to the on-board supply – particularly useful during long distance flights. With its corpuls® brand GS offers a practically tested system solution for the air ambulance service.

Functional integration
Ergonomic and safe mounting concept Functional mountings for defibrillator/monitoring systems in varied applications are an essential part of a useful overall solution for air medical services and intensive care transport. For this reason GS evaluates the mounting and charging systems already from the very first stage of their conceptual design. The modular construction of corpuls3 allows a completely new and innovative approach for the end user. Not only mountings for each single module have been developed, also at the same time a continuous energy supply has been ensured. Focus on key points!
Wireless communication
The unique wireless network technology allows operation of the components independently as if they were physically connected.

Advantages mounting Monitoring unit Safe installation in working position: - Swivel adapter (30째 or 60째) ensures easy visible monitoring for each crew member - Charging via 12V or 230V - Adaptation to existing wall adapter systems and norm bars (continuously variable)
Advantages mounting Compact unit Safe positioning by floor adapter: - Several track widths for floor plates of common helicopter available (Eurocopter EC135, EC 145, BK 117) - Charging via 12V or 230V - Simple removal of the compact unit - No need of fixation straps anymore
Advantages mounting Patient box Adaptation to existing stretcher systems: - Time saving and safe loading and unloading of patients with uninterrupted monitoring - No more cable tangle - On request with charging option
Practicable solutions
Ergonomic mounting concept of the Monitoring unit The combination of a power supplied air worthy monitor mounting, a swivel module (30째 or 60째) and a continuously variable adapter plate ensures a trouble-free and quick installation in most helicopters or air medical aircrafts. Its swivelling mechanism ensures a direct visibility on the display and a perfect readability of all curves and vital parameter. Thus a higher patient safety is ensured.
Safe mounting concept of the Compact unit The adapter for the mounting of the compact unit into the rails of the bottom plate (developed in co-operation with Bucher Group Switzerland) allows 4 different sizes. The charging bracket of corpuls3 not only ensures a safe mounting of the compact unit, but also a functional solution for an easy work management is offered.
Functional locking of the Patient box GS offers the ability to securely adjust the patient box to various stretcher systems. No more cable traps and a continuously monitored patient without connecting and disconnecting of the cables is only one of the many advantages of this system. The recorded data can be transferred from the EMS site to the hospital later on, thus guaranteeing an optimum uninterrupted medical treatment of the patient.
