Reimagining the Light Box was inspired by 11 W Huling’s heritage as a photography studio and the buildings iconic cyclorama, which remains a focal point inside the renovated warehouse.

Bit.io’s mission is to make large datasets about politics, economics, COVID, global demographics, and more easily shareable and queriable for developers and data scientists. We were tasked with creating 60+ editorial-style illustrations that made the huge sheets of raw data and accurate but dense labeling feel more accessible and personable to site visitors.

Dario Campos

Mychael Metcalf As a highly imaginative only child growing up in southern Ohio, Mychael spent countless hours creating artistic images. Wherever he went he always kept a bag of crayons and paper in hand. That led him to attend The Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, OH and studying illustration & fine art before moving on to graduate from The College of Modern Design in Kettering, OH with a degree in Illustration and Advertising Design. Out of school Mychael went to work on the Ohio Lottery and the Washington D.C Lottery account before being recruited to work on the Michigan Lottery, resulting in Mychael eventually making his move to Detroit. For the past 20 plus years he has lent his imagination, creativity and direction on small scale pro-bono community based projects all the way up to big budgeted Superbowl commercials. Over the years he’s built and amazing roster of diversified national, international and Fortune 500 accounts that he has worked on such as Chevrolet, Cadillac, DaimlerChrysler, Proctor & Gamble, General Mills, Domino’s Pizza, Buick, Kmart, GMC, Colgate, NBC, eBay, Sports Illustrated and Fox NFL.

Dario Campos is a Creative Director from Bogotá, Colombia. He has more than 15 years of hands -on experience working with Advertising Agencies in South America and the United States such as FCB, Saatchi & Saatchi, Sancho:BBDO, Publicis:BROMLEY, McGarryBowen & Dieste (Omnicom). During the course of his career, Dario has won several awards including Cannes, Clio, LIA, One Show, the New York Festivals, Effie, Fiap, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Festival del Caribe, el Diente (Círculo Creativo Argentino), Telly’s, Addy’s, Condor (Colombia) & Nova (Colombia). He also had served as jury at the New York Festivals, the Wave (Rio) and in Mexico. Dario’s experience includes the conceptual development and execution of campaigns for a wide variety of national brands in both the Hispanic and Total market arenas. His client experience includes working on campaigns for Coca - Cola, Burger King, General Mills (Yoplait, Cheerios, Fiber One, Go - Gurt, Roll Ups, Pillsbury), CDC Aids Prevention, Audi of America, Sony, GM, Las Vegas, Nestle, MillerCoors (Miller Lite, Coors Light), NBA, The Dial Corporation, Pizza Hut, AT&T, DirecTV, P&G, and Reynolds Wrap to name a few.

Along the way his award winning black and white fine art work has also been on display in galleries and museum exhibitions from Essencefest to Art Basel Miami and many more places in between. Currently Mychael is a Creative Director at GTB in Dearborn, MI working exclusively on the Ford Motor Company account. And he still occasionally keeps a bag of crayons and paper within reach.

Natasha Clark Natasha Clark is an interactive and marketing designer at Gatorworks, specializing in designing for digital accessibility. On a daily basis, she does website and digital marketing work for a variety of clients in industries ranging from small fashion boutiques to state government offices. In her professional life before Gatorworks, Natasha worked on both the agency and client side for companies big and small in New York and Louisiana. She currently lives and works out of Madison, Wisconsin. A proud alumna of the 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Intern Program, Natasha volunteers as a mentor providing guidance to up-andcoming minority talent in advertising. She also served as an AAF board member for four years in Louisiana and remains connected to the organization as an Ad2 member in Wisconsin and occasional American Advertising Awards judge.

AAF Memphis awarded Anderson Humphreys as its 2021 Silver Medal recipient. Anderson Humphreys, a lifelong Memphian, has been a consistent champion for creativity in advertising and in building the perceptual value of Memphis as a center for advertising excellence. Humphreys attended college in Michigan, Florida and Tennessee, and studied advertising at the acclaimed School of Visual Arts in New York City. In 1988, he started the Memphis agency Humphreys Ink, after working at Malone & Hyde Advertising and Auto Shack (later AutoZone). Humphreys Ink was recognized on the local, regional and national level with numerous advertising industry awards working with clients such as Holiday Inn, The Memphis Zoo, FedEx, and others. Humphreys has made Memphis better by serving on the Boards of: Memphis Advertising Federation, Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, AAF National ADDY Committee, Memphis Cotton Carnival, and Shea Clinic Foundation.

Advertising awards he has garnered include: ATHENA, Mobius, New York Art Directors Club, Creative magazine, Communigraphics, 4 National AAF ADDYs, 15 District ADDYs and more than 60 local ADDYs, "Best of Show" and "Marketer of the Year," 1990, 1991; AAF Memphis Volunteer of the year 1989, 1990. Most recently, Humphreys established his own firm - Anderson Humphreys LLC in 2016 using a virtual team approach, leading experienced advertising professionals in branding projects and integrated advertising solutions for select clients.
