Formed in 2017 by a group of dedicated soccer fans and entrepreneurs our mission is to build first-class facilities for the Atlantic city region to develop world-class soccer talent while promoting our sponsors.
In 2018, ACFC joined the national premier soccer league, the largest national soccer league in the United States with 90+ teams playing in 40+ states. The NPSL represents the fourth tier in professional us soccer and equates to single-a status in minor league baseball.
In the team’s 2nd Season, the team finished at the top of the keystone conference, considered one of the hardest in the NPSL. ACFC scored 33 girls and conceded 14. The season included the team’s first playoff birth, an NPSL national player of the week, and the featured game of the week. The season also saw ACFC’s social media grow by over 300%.
Prior to the pandemic, ACFC Qualified for the US Open Cup where it was set to host the first two rounds of competition (provided they won the first).

2021 saw ACFC go undefeated in the regular season and finished second in total points with an 8-0-2 record.
Atlantic City FC is a minor league soccer team playing in the National Premier Soccer League’s Keystone Conference in the Northeast Region. The team plays its home games at Stockton University in Galloway New Jersey and trains at The Police Athletic League Indoor Recreation Facility in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. ANDREW WEILGUS
Mr. Weilgus is the executive director of the Esports innovation Institute at Stockton University. He received his Master’s Degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his role with the EIC he has also been a television producer for Direc TV’s NFL Sunday Ticket and a serial entrepreneur in the sports and gaming space. He is a lifelong soccer fan with a deep understanding of the international landscape both in terms of team operations and brand marketing. Mr. Weilgus has long been involved in bringing new ideas to the Atlantic City market. As the founder of QuizzoTrivia.com and Atlantic City Fantasy Sports, Mr. Weilgus has promoted popular events at every major Atlantic City casino as well as dozens of area venues.

PAUL KELLY
Mr. Kelly is the general manager of Longport Media which manages multiple radio stations in the Atlantic City market. Mr. Kelly has extensive experience in the Atlantic City market with previous minor league teams and local business sponsorship. He is also an on airtalent for Sirius XM Satellite Radio and a producer on Direct TV’s NFL Sunday Ticket.
JEREMIAH WHITE III
One of the most successful soccer athletes to have emerged from the metro Philadelphia area. Jeremiah is capped for the USA Men’s National Team and completed a distinguished professional career on the International stage in Serbia, Greece, France, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, Poland and with the New England Revolution of MLS. Jeremiah was ACC Player of the Year at Wake Forest University where he was also three time All American and AllACC Selection, including leading the ACC in scoring in his sophomore year. Jeremiah now aspires to dedicate his wealth of knowledge
and experiences to develop the next generation of soccer standouts, andfulfilling his vision of paving the path forward for the boys he coaches to succeed on all levels.
JIM BOHS
The head of Tilton Fitness Atlantic City and a board member on mainland United Soccer Association. A former college soccer athlete, Bohs is heavily involved in a variety of ACFC departments. He currently serves as the director of business development for the club.
DR. DAMON GREENE
An orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and cartilage surgery. He spent an extra year of surgical and medical training after residency to concentrate on the diagnosis and treatment of athletic injuries. He has worked with various professional athletic organizations including the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans; collegiate teams such as University of New Orleans; and numerous high school teams in both New Orleans and Brooklyn. He was also selected to be an assistant orthopedic surgeon at the NBA All Star Game and NFL Combine
MATCH REPORT
In a thrilling season opener for Atlantic City FC, emerged victorious with an impressive 4-0 win over First State FC in the National Premier Soccer League. The match took place on May 11th, 2023, at Abessinio Stadium in Wilmington, DE, with a sizable crowd of over 400 enthusiastic spectators enjoying the perfect weather.
The game started with a series of backand-forths with both teams missing several opportunities early. In the 36th minute, returning ace and one of last year’s best players, Sean Fatiga capitalized on a moment of vulnerability from the opposing goalkeeper, confidently finding the back of the net to give Atlantic City FC an early lead.
The first half showcased the skills and determination of Colin Beasley, the star forward from Rutgers University. Beasley showcased his prowess by netting the first of his two goals, extending Atlantic City’s lead to 2-0 at halftime.
As the second half kicked off, the Aces continued their relentless pursuit of goals. James Cahill, in his second year with the team,
played a pivotal role in the team’s success by providing a brilliant assist to Beasley, who wasted no time securing his second goal of the match.
Not to be outdone, Jason Barragan made his mark on the game with a remarkable strike from outside the box, leaving the opposition’s goalkeeper with no chance of making a save. Barragan’s scorching goal sealed the deal for Atlantic City FC, securing a resounding 4-0 victory.
The match was a historic one for the Aces, as it marked their second win at Abessinio Stadium. Their previous triumph at the venue dates back to 2021 when they secured a convincing 3-0 win. It also marked new head coach Alexis Mendoza’s first win in the National Premier Soccer League. Atlantic City FC showcased their ability to dominate on the road and left no doubt about their intentions for the season.

Atlantic City Football Club faced off against FC Motown at the end of May in an exhilarating match at Montclair State University’s Red Bulls 2 Stadium. The game ended in an 1-1 draw, leaving both teams with a hard-fought point. The match was held at 7 PM, providing an evening of thrilling soccer action for the fans in attendance.
FC Motown started the game strongly, taking an early lead in the 24th minute with a goal scored by Mensah. However, Atlantic City FC quickly responded, equalizing just before halftime. In the 44th minute, Loic Jean Baptiste of Atlantic City FC showcased his skill by chipping the keeper from an impressive distance of about 35 yards, finding the back of the net and leveling the score.
The second half continued with both teams displaying their determination and skill. Despite numerous chances created by both sides, neither team managed to score,
resulting in a scoreless half. The fast-paced and exciting nature of the game kept the crowd on the edge of their seats throughout the entire match.
With this draw, Atlantic City FC’s record for their first three games stood at 1 win, 1 loss, and 1 draw. The defending champions, FC Motown, had two wins and one tie, showing their strength and consistency in the early stages of the season.
Looking ahead, FC Motown will return to Atlantic City on July 7 for the final game of the regular season, promising another intense battle between these two formidable teams.
Overall, the match between Atlantic City FC and FC Motown was a highly competitive encounter, filled with excitement and showcasing the skills of both teams. The draw reflected the evenly matched contest and set the stage for future thrilling encounters between these two talented sides.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Mainland United Soccer Association (MUSA) is a volunteer run, nonprofit organization dedicated to the task of promoting and enhancing the culture of soccer in the Mainland area. We are affiliated with the New Jersey Youth Soccer Association (NJYS), as well as, U.S. Club Soccer. Participants from Somers Point, Northfield and Linwood are welcome. We are an open club, accepting players on our teams from surrounding communities. Our program offers teams for both the girls and the boys. The club offers professional training by certified staff and participates at top flights in the State of New Jersey and the Northeast Region. MUSA has quickly become an Olympic level soccer club within South Jersey Soccer League (SJSL) and has teams competing in the Eastern Development Program (EDP), Mid-Atlantic Premier Soccer (MAPS) and State Cup teams.
The Police Activities League of Egg Harbor Township and Atlantic County was established in 1989 and we serve the entire South Jersey Community. Our facilities include:
Ready to Ride OHV Park, a 35 acre facility, home to our home office, 8 miles of dirt bike, ATV and go-kart trails, nature trails, Holidays with Heroes, Big PAL’s before and after care for grades 5th- 8th, STEM workshops, our world ranked competitive robotics’ teams known as the ENFORCERS, laser tag, VR and video game room, and our series of summers camps that include your traditional camp, STEM and Extreme Trips and Activities Camps.
Founded in 1970, the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City is approaching its fiftieth year of making positive differences in the lives of the youth of Atlantic City.
In 2017, the City of Atlantic City granted a 30-year lease for the Mayor James Usry building located at 1010 Drexel Avenue, which is directly behind our facility at 317 North Pennsylvania Avenue. Access to this facility enabled us to transfer our younger Club members to a space already equipped and designed for pre-school and elementary-aged children. The Pennsylvania facility was transformed into the state-of-the-art Center for Youth Economic Development and College Readiness, where middle and high school youth participate in specialized career development
Atlantic City FC’s headquarters are in the Chelsea neighborhood of Atlantic City. The Chelsea EDC is a community organization set up to support the area in several ways. Chelsea has an incredible diversity of cultures. Engaging residents, promoting the arts, and fostering the leadership capacity of Chelsea residents are paramount for success and those efforts are supported by CEDC.
