PROFILE

H A S S A N E M A H A M AT A D O U M I'm 21 years old junior architect from Chad Republic. I always had an interest and passion for Architecture, and therefore, I have recently graduated with a bachelor degree in architecture (Part 1) from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Malaysia. Besides Chad, I lived most of my life in France, UAE, USA, Ethiopia, Malaysia and currently living in Khartoum, Sudan. I would like to involve in the field of architecture in order to gain experience and learn new skills to create real designs. Architecture to me, is about improving conditions: environmental, social and also serving others through the design of the built environment. .

IMAGINING ROOMS Location Class Duration Intake

: Sungai Pelek, Malaysia : Architecture Design 4 : 4 Weeks : February 2018

I This is a theoretical project. It is about exploring the idea that what we build to live in may simply be a re-imaging of the world that already surrounds us. And also exploring a series of landscapes, to develop an understanding of those landscapes and then to create a series of new 3 rooms each creating a spatial resonance related to a specific part of Sungai Pelek province. Each room is conceived using a set of principles abstracted from my understanding of a site context. As interior landscapes that construct whole new worlds founded on the qualities of the original landscapes.

RECREATIONAL COMMUNITY CENTER Location Class Duration Intake

: Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia : Architecture Design 5 : 8 Weeks : August 2018

I Community centers are public locations where members of the community meet together to do activities or social support or public information so I chose to make something that will be recreational for people. This site is a commercial area and schools and universities, so this is the idea of making community center in sports.

The concept of this design is curiosity, it's fast becoming my most valued professional attribute. Curiosity inhibits frustration, It motivates and energizes creativity. Curiosity can undermine the invisibility of assumptions. Design the building with a little bit of shape different like irregular forms. Making a small window opening and controlling and playing with natural lighting.

CONCEPT CURIOSITY A STRONG DESIRE TO KNOW OR DISCOVER SOMETHING IT IS FAST-BECOMING MY MOST VALUED PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTE. CURIOSITY INHIBITS FRUSTRATION. IT MOTIVATES AND ENERGISES CREATIVITY. CURIOSITY CAN UNDERMINE THE INVISIBILITY OF ASSUMPTIONS. DESIGN THE BUILDING WITH A LITTLE BIT SHAPE DIFFERENT LIKE IRREGULAR FORMS. MAKING SMALL WINDOW OPENINGS AND CONTROLLING AND PLAYING WITH NATURAL LIGHTING.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

MIND MAP DIVIDING AND CHOOSING SPACES RECREATIONAL SPORT ACTIVITIES IN COMMUNITY CENTER DEPEND ON WHAT VISITORS DO OR NEED.

17

ARCHITECTURE

RECREATIONAL SPORTS WHY? THE IDEA OF CHOOSING RECREATIONAL SPORT IS THAT THERE IS MINI SPORT CENTERS IN THE SITE. THERE ARE SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES WHICH IS A GOOD ATTRACTION TO CREATE BIG COMMUNITY CENTER IN SUBANG JAYA.

WINGS RESIDENCE Location Class Duration Intake

: Ampang Jaya, Malaysia : Architecture Design 6 : 8 Weeks : February 2019

I Ampang Jaya is a small residential area which is located within the thriving township of Ampang, which is hosy to some of the city’s favorite hangout spot. While neighboring the lofty city center Ampang Jaya is comparatively more laidback as compared to its neighborhoods. Framing views is the concept of my design that improving the user experience of spaces. We as users of the built environment spend most of our days in heavily cordoned off spaces, attempting to both be productive during our workday and to turn off the hustle and relax after work hours.

DESIGN CONCEPT FRAMING VIEWS FRAMING VIEWS: IMPROVING THE USER EXPERIENCE OF SPACES WE, AS USERS OF THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT, SPEND MOST OF OUR DAYS IN HEAVILY CORDONED OFF SPACES, ATTEMPTING TO BOTH BE PRODUCTIVE DURING OUR WORK DAY AND TO TURN-OFF THE HUSTLE AND RELAX AFTER WORK HOURS. FRAMING A VIEW IS A COMMON DEVICE IN GARDEN DESIGN. THE UNPLEASANT TRUTH IS THAT WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO BE OUTDOORS AND EXPERIENCE WHAT NATURE HAS TO OFFER. WITH THE PREVALENT INTROVERTED CONSTRUCTION STYLE BEING APPLIED TO MOST NEW DEVELOPMENTS, IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US AS PRACTICING ARCHITECTS TO ATTEMPT AND BREAKAWAY FROM THIS STEREOTYPICAL CONSTRUCTION METHOD.
