Help us celebrate a slightly delayed Mooncake Festival. During the evening make your own lantern to be carried around Civic Square and try delicious mooncakes while learning about the importance of the Mooncake Festival.

DUMPLING DEMONSTRATION

Learn from the experts how to make your own wrappers, form and fold your dumplings and, of course, sample them.

Visit Hastings Library during New Zealand Chinese Language Week and enjoy a selection of beautiful picture books.

As part of the 10th anniversary of New Zealand Chinese Language Week, China's Centre for Language and Education and Cooperation have gifted us with over 100 beautiful children's picture books from China.
