Event Overview The first edition of the Haute Route Qingcheng offers an exceptional course around the foothills of the Tibetean Plateau. The Course features a total of 236 km and 4970M+ of climbing over three days.

How To Get To Qingcheng AIRPORT Chengdu International Airport
CAR Drive from home or rent a car from your arrival airport/train station. Private Car shuttle Service (1440 CNY).
SHUTTLE If you are flying to Chengdu International Airport, you can enjoy the airport shuttle service (165 CNY). Airport to event: 24th of October at 11AM and 2PM Event to airport: 27th of October at 3PM and 6PM Add Shuttle to your registration and add your flight details Please note: The service is only available as a round trip.

Event Village All riders are required to register at the Event Village on 24th October between 2pm and 7pm (from 1:00pm for the Infinity Pass Holders). The village will be located on the lawn of the Official Event Hotel.

VILLAGE ARRIVAL – The event village will be open from 1pm to 7pm. Before exploring the village and visiting partners’ and exhibitors’ booths, make sure you follow the steps outlined below. BIKE PARK – If you brought your bike with you to the village use the secure bike park while you complete the registration process. EQUIPMENT CHECK – Present the following mandatory equipment to the organisation before being allowed to proceed to bib collection: Hard-shell helmet.

BIB COLLECTION – Collect your bib, bike plate and Haute Route Qingcheng registration pack (you will need one form of photo ID).

OFFICIAL PHOTO - Don’t forget to have your official Haute Route picture taken.

BIKE PLATE – Once you’ve collected your registration pack, attach your bike plate on to your handlebars. It is forbidden to alter, cut or fold your bike plate. WELCOME BRIEFING – Once you have completed all these steps and have visited our partner and exhibitor stands please ensure that you attend the mandatory Rider Briefing at 7pm 4th floor in Event Hotel. N.B: The Rider Briefing will be followed by the Event Supporter Briefing which is mandatory for friends and family following the event by car.

PASTA PARTY – To start the Haute Route in the right way, make new friends over dinner at the Pasta Party, which will take place at 8pm 2nd floor in Event Hotel . Finally, don’t forget to pick up your bike if you used the bike park. There is no secure bike park overnight.

Rules And Regulations Rules and Regulations
Key Points
It is important to be aware of all the Rules & Regulations of the Haute Route which include timekeeping & rankings, time limits, equipment allowed, safety, medical and personal assistance, anti-doping and other important topics.
• The roads will be fully closed for the majority of the course. Should you find yourslef on an open section of road please abide by the following rules. • Respect traffic rules at all times (traffic lights, stop signs, etc.) • Ride on the right hand side of the road • Respect traffic signs of the Haute Route • Respect other road users (not involved in the event) • Wear a hardshell helmet at all times • Wear your bib on your back • Position your frame plate on the front of your handlebars • No earphones

Equipment check The following equipment is mandatory and must be presented by every rider during registration to pass the Equipment Safety Check prior to collecting your bib and registration pack: • Hard-shell helmet
Sustainability By entering the Haute Route, you commit to respect the environment and the natural areas visited. It is strictly forbidden to leave any type of waste (paper, plastic packaging etc) on the course. Any rider caught throwing waste on the course can be penalised or even disqualified. Safety And Support Organisation

Technical Assistance Assistance on the course • Mavic is the only party authorised to provide assistance on the course outside of designated feed stations. Riders receiving outside assistance - mechanical or otherwise - are liable to penalties and ultimately disqualification • Every participant is expected to be selfsufficient in the case of a puncture If you suffer a mechanical, please be patient and inform the driver of the closest course vehicle - they will inform Mavic. Please note that time waiting for Mavic will not and can not be deducted from your race result. Mavic have to look after the entire peloton and their neutral service will help you as quickly as possible.
Medical Assistance Available 24/7: • Emergency Doctors • Professional Nurses • Ambulances
Assistance in the event village and at the start line: Mavic will have a stand at each Event Village and at the start line. The team will attempt to resolve any mechanical issues. Replacement parts, spares and accessories: Mavic will not provide spare parts. Although there may be some bike shops close to the course, we recommend you bring specific spares including: • A rear-mech hanger • Allen keys specific to your bike • Spare brake blocks (front and rear) • Inner tubes with the correct length valves and CO2 cans and a pump

Feed Stations All feed stations throughout the Haute Route will be stocked with a variety of different products to help you fuel and hydrate for your ride. From a variety of drinks and energy products to sweet and savoury whole foods, there will be something to suit everyone’s taste.

Your start time is defined by your overall ranking following the previous stages and riders will set off in reverse order of the general classification. 1. Call times and start times published at the briefing after the previous stage and available online 2. Present yourself in the waiting area at your call time 3.
