What is your current biggest challenge competing on a global scale in a highly competitive industry?
The current challenge is the instability of the world that makes us adapt to the new situations constantly since the last two years. The team has now learned how to adapt fast and efficiently having a flexible business plan due to the new circumstances.
What differentiate the hotel from others in your opinion?
The Ritz-Carlton, Abama is a timeless island retreat on the southwest coast of Tenerife. A magnificent 400-acre estate that creates an oasis of verdant subtropical space at the heart of a stunning ‘finca’ setting of natural beauty with volcanic landscapes and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The annual average temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in Spain. Another significant differentiation is the culinary offer of the resort with 9 different restaurants being two of them Michelin-starred. In addition to this, Tenerife is Europe’s first Whale Heritage area with bottlenose dolphins and Short-finned Pilot whales that are year-round residents and often spotted off the island’s coastline, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for cetacean conservation. The resort has it all, with an award winning spa, to relax and discover a great destination few hours away from the main capitals of Europe.
How do you remain competitive within your region in terms of the hotel’s offerings?
As mentioned, the hotel has unique offerings that create a unique destination. The resort has it all to enjoy it all year round with your loved ones.
How do you expect the association with Haute Grandeur will benefit your brand in the medium/long run?
I believe Haute Grandeur will an additional platform to create awareness of our hotel and brand worldwide.
Which market segment do you cater for?
We actually cater for several markets such as Uk, Spain and United States mainly but also some others form the north of Europe.
