Setouchi Aonagi

“ Setouchi Aonagi “ is a small luxury hotel in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, which opened in December 2015.

It was renovated from an art museum into a hotel with the concept of “Minimal Luxury” + “Showcase of Setouchi”. Art works are exhibited everywhere in the sophisticated building created by Tadao Ando. The dining is stylish & fusion Japanese kaiseki ryori (Japanese course menu) that uses only seasonal ingredients of the Seto Inland Sea. The facilities include the “INFINITY POOL”, the heated pool “PRIVATE POOL” where you can swim all year round, “ALL THAT SPA SETOUCHI”, the first full-scale hotel spa in Shikoku. All 7 guest rooms are suites of at least 100 square meters or more. The signature room “THE AONAGI Suite” has the ceiling height of 8 meters, and you can enjoy a magnificent view of Setouchi from the open glass windows.
