25 individuals are part of the inaugural class of fellows empower a diverse group of healthcare visionaries and entrepreneurs at Baptist Health and in South Florida. The fellowship will provide participants a comprehensive understanding of the need and opportunity for developing groundbreaking new products, services and interventions in healthcare.

Baptist Health Foundation also set its sights on a $1 million goal to match the Knight Foundation’s grant — and through the generosity of more than 20 donors, the gift match was made possible.

The $1 million gift from Argosy Foundation is setting Baptist Health Innovations up to help engineer the future of healthcare by providing physicians and staff with worldclass resources to turn great ideas into transformative products, devices, therapies, hospitals and services. Argosy Foundation’s support is an important step in solidifying the innovation infrastructure at Baptist Health and creating potential solutions to healthcare needs.

Both philanthropic investments from the Knight Foundation and Argosy Foundation have positioned Baptist Health to optimize healthcare delivery and become a leader in innovation — building connections and providing real-world solutions to real-world challenges, all in South Florida’s own backyard.
