Much of what we are able to accomplish at Baptist Health Foundation is thanks to the dedication of our amazing volunteers, and Tom Davidson is one of them. A Baptist Health trustee and Founding Chair of the Ocean Reef/Baptist Health Advisory Board, Tom was recognized as the Foundation’s 2021 Volunteer of the Year. This prestigious honor acknowledged him as the leading force behind Ocean Reef’s commitment to a multiyear campaign to raise money to build a helipad at Baptist Hospital’s Victor E. Clarke Emergency Center.

Tom’s work serves the mission of Ocean Reef and Baptist Health to maximize the quality and streamline the effectiveness of the healthcare offerings for Ocean Reef residents. Under his visionary leadership, Ocean Reef’s generous donors provided much of the $9 million needed for the new helipad, which began service in October 2020 — a memorable milestone in Baptist Health’s history.

Tom’s commitment to our mission has inspired an entire community to give back through philanthropy. We are forever grateful for his belief in Baptist Health.
