THE BEST TIME TO VISIT: October through to April, as the weather is cooler (between March and May, a hot and dry sand storm, known as Khamasin winds, blows from the southwest. FLIGHT INFORMATION

DESTITNATION INFORMATION CLOTHING - Casual dress code. Guests should pack cool and comfortable clothing. Jerseys and heavier jackets are needed for spring and winter, tops and shorts can be worn during summer. Sturdy and comfortable shoes are essential. Accessories to pack include: Camera; video recorder and cap or hat. It is requested that shoes, shirts, trousers and shorts are worn in the lounge and dining room, and that gentlemen wear long trousers for dinner and a jacket for farewell dinner on board. CLIMATE - Egypt has a hot dry climate. The temperatures are hot on summer days and warm on summer nights; warm or mild on winter days and cool on winter nights. The thin coastal strip at the north of Egypt has the most moderate temperatures, because of prevailing Mediterranean Sea winds. • Summer: From May to August - Average minimum of 23C (73 F) on nights, maximum average of 31C (88 F) on days • Winter: From November to March - A minimum average of 9.5C (49.1 F) on nights, maximum average of 17C (63 F) on days • Rainy: From December to February. HEALTH There is no requirement for vaccinations (except for Yellow Fever if you are arriving from an infected area.)



Day 1: Arrive Cairo ‘Welcome to Egypt’ Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport and then he will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. HOTEL INFORMATION

Day 2: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, and then you will be accompanied by your personal guide to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. Lunch at good quality local restaurant. Then transfer to enjoy the Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner



Day 3: Check out from your hotel in Cairo early morning and then transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Abu Simbel via Aswan – Visit Abu Simbel Temple Then fly back to Aswan. You will be met and assisted at Aswan Airport by our representative, transfer to the world famous High Dam to visit the awesome Philae temple, which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. It is the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk.

Then transfer to Embark on your Nile cruise. Dinner on board and overnight in Aswan. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner


CRUISE INFORMATION The Sanctuary Sun Boat IV is a contemporary chic, sleek boat with heavy art deco influences. All cabins have Nile views and are fully air-conditioned. Harmonious colors and teak flooring are used throughout the boat which, along with modern and eyecatching furniture, makes it a luxurious floating haven. The Sanctuary Sun Boat IV has an upper sun deck with swimming pool (heated to 28 degrees during winter), a shaded deck and a lounge bar.


The restaurant is spacious and seats 85. In addition, there is a library and games room with computer and internet access. Along with a gymnasium and a massage room, there is also a gift shop and laundry services. There is a doctor on-board, 24 hours a day. For guests wishing to relax there is room service. There is a no smoking policy, except on the open decks and there is a no mobile policy. There is an on-board doctor 24 hours a day and first aid medicines. For safety on board: a very sensitive fire alarm system, security gate, fire fighting team, emergency lights and signs, life jackets and exit plans behind cabins’ doors; and security on board (on board security officers 24 hours a day and two police guards during sailing.) Wheelchair access is available on a complimentary basis but if client requires staff assistance, an extra charge will be added. A screen projector is available upon request. There is a Nile mail service with cards and stamps are available at the reception desk. There is also a Lost & Found system on board. ON-BOARD ACTIVITIES Entertainment schedules during cruises are adjusted according to the needs of each group of guests and the exact sailing schedule. Every cruise on the Sanctuary Sun Boat IV includes: • A colorful Galabeya Party - dress up in traditional Egyptian clothing and dance to Arabic music • Performance by a belly dancer, accompanied by a whirling dervish show in Luxor • Cooking lesson (Three Egyptian items) • A lecture by the Egyptologist guide on board • In-house movies and cinema


Day 4: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples Sail to Kom Ombo, have breakfast on board and Visit the Temple shared by two gods Sobek & Haeroris in Kom Ombo.

Sail to Edfu, lunch on board after that Visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, Horus Temple in Edfu. Take afternoon tea during sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner


Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions Sail to Luxor, have breakfast on board then Visit the West Bank, take an excursion to the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings, then to mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut approximately in the 15th century BC, at El-Deir ElBahari & the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. Enjoy afternoon tea during sailing. Dinner on board Overnight in Luxor. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Day 6: Luxor Nile Cruise - Transfer Luxor, flight to Cairo - Breakfast aboard cruise before disembarkation You will be accompanied by your guide to visit Karnak and Luxor Temples at the East Bank of the River Nile. Later you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, transfer to your hotel in Cairo and overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast



Day 7: Cairo - Fly Back Home Breakfast with free time at your hotel before transferring to Cairo International Airport for departure. Meals: Breakfast
