Jubilee has begun building new Missing Middle style houses in the Holland community. In partnership with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, Jubilee has created the first ever mixed-income, non-profit, affordable housing development in the Greater Holland Area. The first development was 10 houses and the next project development will be 42 housing units and is currently under construction.

This time last year, Jubilee was in the process of finalizing our first mixed-income attainable housing development, Park Vista Place. Now, we are thrilled to share that Park Vista Place is complete with 5 first-time homeowners now occupying the Jubilee homes. Our new project, Vista Green, is almost 5timeslarger than Park Vista Place. At the end of the project there will be 24 new homes built with 24 new homeowners. Homeowners who want to live and grow their families here in Holland, but are not finding affordable homes.

The need for attainable housing has only grown in the last year. Recent studies show that the middle-income buyers, also known as the “Missing Middle”, are facing the largest housing shortage of all income groups in the United States.
