This year, the Fall/Winter festivities will run from February 6th to February 11th.

As one of the “Big Four” global fashion weeks—alongside Paris, Milan, and London—NYFW has a storied history. Since its founding in 1943 during World War II, NYFW has not only spotlighted American talent but also set the stage for contemporary global fashion. Initially created to redirect attention to U.S. designers during a time when travel to European fashion hubs was restricted, the event quickly grew into a cornerstone of the industry. NYFW consists of numerous events spread across the city. The official calendar showcases runway presentations by prominent designers, but the week also includes a wealth of off-schedule shows, pop-ups, and industry gatherings. In total, dozens of designers will present collections, with hundreds more participating in affiliated showcases throughout Manhattan.

This year’s Fall/Winter showcase begins with Brandon Maxwell on February 6th and closes with Thom Browne on February 11th. Christopher John Rogers returns after a five-year hiatus, while Italian designer Veronica Leoni debuts her Calvin Klein Collection on February 7th.
