The ocean water in Lanikai is crystal clear, and the famous Mokoluas also known as “mokes” (mountains) can be seen out in the ocean. The hike to the Lanikai Pillbox is super easy and accessible by most. There is no better way to start the day than overlooking the ocean and taking in the stunning island scenery.
