The year-round sun, Atlantic coast, and countless marinas and water-access points make it the ideal place to get on the water. More importantly, a love for boating is ingrained deeply in the state’s culture, as many residents proudly possess top-notch vessels. This October, one of the most significant boating events in the world is set to begin when the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show takes to the Florida waters.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is the biggest in-water boat show in the world, an event attended by more than 100,000 people every year. It is a massive occasion featuring more than 1,300 boats on display on the water.

Attendees can hop aboard, explore, and find unmatched prices for some of the most incredible boats in the world right now. There will be more than 1,000 brands exhibiting their latest and greatest, with boats ranging from smaller watercraft to luxury yachts.

This year will be the 63rd Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and it will take place from October 26th-30th. The event will occur across seven locations in Fort Lauderdale, including the Broward County Convention Center, Hall of Fame Marina, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, and more.

The Broward County Convention Center is the transportation hub of the show. This is where attendees will get transport to the numerous other locations where the show takes place. It will also be where many fishing boats and water sports devices will be showcased. With a 30’x60’, 40,000-gallon freshwater pool, the convention center will be perfect for seeing some smaller boats and watercraft in action.

Naturally, the experience at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show isn’t limited to just the boats on display. There is a lot to see and do for attendees, making this a family-friendly event and one that even people not interested in boats will enjoy. The AquaZone is an area in the convention center where attendees can watch live demonstrations of aquabatics and check out some truly innovative new products. There will also be high-end dining options, from Mediterranean food and seafood to vegan meals and treats.

There are many highlights of this event for boat lovers that want to see some of the most spectacular water vehicles to ever grace the ocean. The Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty Six Hotel and Marina will showcase incredible luxury superyachts, including the jaw-dropping Mangusta Oceano 50.For those looking to gain an education on boating and the boats featured at the event, there will be informative seminars throughout the different areas of the show. These range from a speech from a U.S. sailing Olympian to tips from a world-renowned angler on catching Mahi Mahi.

Tickets can be purchased online right now, with General Admission tickets allowing access to any of the seven locations and complimentary shuttle service. General Admission tickets cost $39 for one day and $66 for two days.
