Hi, my name is Jack Boyd the son, grandson, and great grandson of general contractors. By the age of eleven I was painting, scrapping out, and sweeping. Age thirteen I was mixing mud, caring blocks, and hand nailing subfloors… So it is no surprise I too became a general contractor… Then came the crash of 89, a horrific crash where I was rear ended at a stop sign by a drunk driver going over 95mph!! This ended my building career in Seattle, WA

I returned to college and became a certified watchmaker. I also obtained the crown jewel of Swiss watchmakers with a certificate from WOSTEP (WOSTEP, the Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program), a very intense undertaking. After declining a job offer from Rolex of New York I opened a watch and clock repair shop, however, the injuries to my back and neck would not allow me to sit for hours hunched over my workbench. I closed my shop and spent the next eleven years overseas as a missionary planting churches.

In Hong Kong I met my wife, in Australia our son was born, and just before going to Taiwan our daughter was born in the US! When our kids were old enough for school my family and I moved back to the US and we settled near Rochester Minnesota. My love of building homes drove me back into the classroom where I became a Realtor… And now I use my knowledge of building homes for over thirty years to satisfy a passion to help people as it is a great and serious undertaking to purchase a home or to sell one.. I might not build them anymore but I am in the industry again and would love to help you find your next home or sell your existing home…
