89 G L E N D O R A AV E N U E, TO R O N TO, O N TA R I O M2N2V9 A story from the owners, Chi Xing... In 2019, together with my husband, I plan to choose a home Toronto. Typically, men value location. As a woman, I am more impressed by an urban decoration and house design. But after looking at the inventory, the houses in our budget were either too old with no style, or in a location that we were not interested in. We were unwilling to give up location and convenient transportation. We saw this small house with a good location, so we thought this was the perfect opportunity to remodel an old house and make it our own. After that, I began renovations. I opened up some structures to open the flow and function of the house. After the structural transformation was completed, I began to plan for some functional rooms that I really wanted in our home. My husband and I like Japanese tatami mats, so we planned a tatami space at the entrance. I found a master tatami supplier, and installed tatami paper doors, wooden cabinets, and tatami mats. I found creamgreen paint and painted the tatami room and the bathroom next to it. This space can be used as a bedroom or meeting guests. The next renovations we moved onto were the kitchen. The original kitchen had old, plastic cabinets, and was very dark - not my favorite style! I found a cabinet company to express my favorite style of cabinets and made a new one-piece cabinet. In terms of color, I prefer the gray-scale Morandi color system, so I chose a new color on the paint swatch at that time, which is similar to haze blue. At the same time, because he also likes industrial style, my husband chose a relatively primitive cement-style slate with wooden cabinets. The dining table by the kitchen is in a circular space by the window,, so I chose RH's wooden round table, canvas chair and a wooden lamp: a little old and original style. The main body of the living room is home to a RH sofa, the leather is smooth cowhide. I like this kind of smooth leather. It will become more

and more flavorful with the years. The coffee table in the living room is a white marble with bronze gold from RH, which echoed the golden handles of the kitchen. In order to add some more casual style to the wall of the living room, the painter applied some texture to the paint at will when painting the wall. Because I like fashion, I felt that the house lacks a cloakroom. So decided to transform a room upstairs into a cloakroom. It just so happens that this room is a trapezoidal irregular room, you can also use the cabinets on the side to cut the entire space into regular shapes. The material for the cloakroom was a soft beige. In addition, I really liked the texture of the weaving, so I chose a material that looked like weaving to make the wardrobe. The master bedroom chose RH's more wooden bed, bedside table and chest of drawers. The back is painted with brown effect paint to match the color of the bed. Because there is still a large space by the window, and my husband often needs to work at night, I chose a RH pearlfish pattern desk and a retro-style chair at the window of the master bedroom. I also wanted more storage space and a dressing table in the bathroom of the master bedroom, so I found a cabinet company again and made a cabinet. On the side, a feminine pink cabinet is used, and wood is used for balance in the middle. I really like the frosted black hardware texture, so there is a combination of the transparent bathroom door and the frosted black shower. The faucets and showers in all bathrooms in the house are also uniformly selected with black frosted hardware. The whole remodeled space is very practical and very popular both by myself, my husband, and friends who come to the house. The whole process we went through with the design and transformation of our home has been very personal, carrying a sense of accomplishment and many happy memories.
